Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

She had said it in passing, a subordinate clause in a longer sentence about something else, and she had not thought about it again. Julian had. She stood at her desk and looked at the book and thought about the particular and specific arithmetic of that, the subordinate clause, the passing mention, the weeks between the mention and the morning it appeared on her desk, and she thought about a man who listened to everything and filed everything and had gone and found the specific and particular book her mother had read every spring and had put it on her desk without a note, without ceremony, without the particular and specific fanfare that would have made it into a gesture requiring a response

I read this book because the introductory 6 chapters made me curious. The second half of the book was written in an interesting style, however the location, the characters names were confused, the months were out of sequence. The 2nd half was the same plot in an alternative style with many flaws.

Enjoyable. Started reading this on another platform. They suddenly change the name of the lead. Pissed me off. Chinese gold farming continues. Wish USA had reading apps. Hate giving my time and or money to the Chinese!

Yes, Uncle; Ruin Me.

Yes, Uncle; Ruin Me.

I didn’t know what half of them did, but my body was already crawling with a strange, frantic desire. “How does it work…” I asked, tilting my head toward him. Zaydeen watched me for a moment, his eyes scanning my face as if reading a map. He walked over to a desk, grabbed a sleek black folder, and brought it back to me. “What is this for?” I asked, looking at the leather-bound book. “Take it,” he replied simply. I took it, my fingers brushing his as I opened the cover. I began to read. My eyes caught the word Submissive.

The billionaire virgin wife

The billionaire virgin wife

It was Damian Knight’s voice when he said, “You belong to me.” Because a part of her believed him. And a darker part didn’t want to argue. She stood restlessly and wandered the room. Her fingers trailed along the bookshelves. Most were hardbound. Thick, glossy, untouched. Titles like Power & Play, Behavioral Strategy, and Psychology of Loyalty. One book was crooked. She tilted her head. It was the only one not aligned with the rest. She reached out. Pulled it. Nothing happened. No secret door. No dramatic reveal.

“Something?” He traced her lower lip with his thumb. “My world. The one I don’t bring just anyone into. There’s a place here that I visit when I am here. It is called The Velvet Abyss. It is a private club filled with anonymous people with kinks like ours. I’ve been a member for years. I want you to see it. With me.”

Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

she says looking at me, I tried my best to hide under my own overgrown bangs. "Do you have it reserved already?" I ask hoping that was the case so I can grab one that's near the check stand of all the reserved books for their customers. I was starting to feel self-conscious of myself as I caught the woman still looking but shook it off as I had to work. "Yes it's under the name of Kennedy smith” she replies. I nodded and looked up the name, once got to the checkout stand, finding it rather quickly then did the whole check out process for reserved books before putting in a bag for her.

Our Submissive Sin

Our Submissive Sin

His scent line was completely sour, reeking of old tavern ale and a violent hangover. "I was just making a pact with your mother to bring her some fresh scrolls," I explained calmly, rising to my feet and stepping toward the massive wooden bookshelves that covered the far wall. I pulled a thick leather text from the shelf, noticing a heavy layer of grey dust coating the spine. Perfect. While my fingers masked the movement, I pressed the tiny black tracking stone right into the deep crack behind the wood trim. "I noticed the collection is getting a little dry."

My Fair Lady|FAIRVERSE BOOK ~ I|

I got out a dense packed book and quickly went back to Reuben in bed. He looked confused and disheveled; his inquisitive gaze fell on the book in my hand. He asked, "What is that?" I, in turn, proudly presented it to him, "Lo and behold Your Highness, this right here in my hand is the 5th popular limited edition of Busty Asian Babes. I heard it is so stimulating that you can release at any time." Reuben with book in hand, "..........."

Clandestine: Hidden World

Clandestine: Hidden World

The pamphlets were filled with symbols, ancient symbols so aged none of them could read or transcribe each insignias. "What in the world am I looking at?" Clancy asked straining his gaze thinking he was hallucinating. The bishop leaned the book toward himself "These books aren't just normal books, they are older than all of you combined including the councils." He began. Amelia was caught attentively by this and she listened more than she wanted. "Written by those before the segregation of each species on the planet." The bishop added. "So you're saying we are about to believe a book written and edited by humans in the AD?" Amelia asked doubtfully.

What Hell May Come

What Hell May Come

Not that Jon had anything to say to her. The day had been taken up by this seemingly fruitless search, until in the dingiest part of the store, in a crumbling red book published in 1900, he found the name. The Book of Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage was filled with weird double-talk, esoteric terms, confusing graphics, and yawn-inducing florid language, but the name was there—as was his invocation.
