Submerged Book Novels & Stories

It was Water. The entire four-volume saga had been taking place in a Submerged Server at the bottom of a real ocean on a real Earth.

--- 10:03 AM – Swamped Lot, South End Water still collected under the bridge, not deep but cloudy. Mud here was sticky, refusing to let go of the soles of their boots. A boy pointed at a submerged cabinet. "There were books inside. Kuya said they float." Elira squatted beside him. "Some do. Some resist." Caelan delivered a plastic crate. "Dry what we can. Stories get second chances as well." Half the books were salvaged by noon—wrinkled from water but in one piece. Volunteers giggled over damp covers, coming up with new titles. The Mysterious Case of the Mushy Notebook.

They walked towards another door, a red one this time. This was smaller than the other but activities were still as intense. Cassie watched in awe, her mouth open like a dog in a slaughter house. In the center, a raised platform served as the focal point. Spotlights bathed it in harsh white light, illuminating a scene that made Cassie's breath catch. A muscular man, his face obscured by a wolf mask with glowing amber eyes, stood over a bound submissive. She was strapped to a St. Andrew's cross, her limbs spread wide, chains rattling softly with each tremble. Her mask was a delicate butterfly design, iridescent wings framing her flushed cheeks. The dominant cracked a bullwhip in the air, the

Unpredictable. All of it feels like another life—one I stepped out of without realizing there might not be a way back. I pull the folded document from my jacket and look at it again, though I don’t unfold it. I don’t need to see the words to feel them. Pulmonary response inconsistent with accidental submersion. Someone decided Lucia’s death before the water finished closing over her. And Chiara—Livia—spent the rest of her life trying to understand what that meant. Trying to survive it.

Location: Trench Floor — Exterior of Natalia’s Power Relay The airlock hissed open, floodlights cutting through the suffocating blackness of the trench floor. The submarine’s hull creaked ominously, a stark reminder of the crushing depths around us. We stepped out into the void, suits insulated against the freezing water, each of us carrying the weight of survival on our shoulders. Ahead of us, Natalia’s power relay loomed like a metallic leviathan, half-buried in the seabed but pulsing with energy. Its glowing core illuminated the wreckage of The Black Fortress, now twisted into the seabed like a grotesque monument.

He pulled me into a kiss that tasted of ancient brine, starlight, and the End of the Submersion. "We’ve hit the South, Darlene," Eryx whispered, his voice a tidal wave of gravel and love. "No," I said, looking toward the horizon, where the dark water was parting to reveal a massive, spiraling Tower of Drowned Glass. "We’ve only just started the Audit of the Abyss." The Sea-Bed didn't just recede; it Inverted, forming a massive, liquid Elevator to the One-Hundred-and-Second Layer. "The Layer of the Sunken Memory is activating," Leo said, his runes turning a steady, aquatic turquoise. "And it’s the Gate to the First Alpha’s Lost Mate."

If I was going to think about something, it needed to be far from their piercing eyes. I walked over to the bookshelf, my fingers gliding along the spines, looking for anything to distract me. But then, a flashy cover caught my eye. A pear surrounded by three bananas. The title was suggestive, and just reading the blurb was enough to get it: reverse harem. A new subgenre that was gaining popularity. I swallowed hard. Was the universe mocking me? On impulse, I grabbed the book and hid it behind a few others on the shelf. I’d come back for it later, alone, and take it to my room. To cover my tracks, I picked up a random poetry book.

****** In Vinneth, River Sile. The water began to churn violently. Jackson stumbled back as the crimson light flared, staining the sky in blood tones. "Donato... " Elowen cried. "Step away please...." But he didn't. He was drawn, like gravity itself had chosen him. From the heart of the river, the black book slowly began to rise still submerged in a sphere of water that refused to break. Its surface bled with light, pages fluttering though no wind touched them. Donato's eyes widened. "It's awake."

, I spoke back. He closed his eyes as if I had just insulted him and when he opened them I swear they were darker. “Anna, take a seat”, he ushered next to him. “Can you keep an open mind Anna?” He questioned. My first thought was, he’s married. I nodded for him to continue. But what came next shocked me. “How much do you know about dominant and submissive lifestyles?” He questioned while trying to see the reaction on my face. This was not what I expected him to say. This was stuff from books and movies. While it made me intrigued I’d never imagined meeting someone who was … into it.

"The day I overheard Archer, they were discussing the Blood Moon day. I think I heard something about the Demon's forest." " Demon's forest? What's that?" Axel asked. " I have read about it somewhere, but I don't remember where." Adele thought hard and then asked Trevor, " Do you have ancient books in the Library here?" " Yes. We have every book related to supernaturals," Trevor says proudly. "Let's check," Adele said and dashed in the direction of the Library while everybody else followed her. They all started checking in the werewolf books, and after a few minutes, Adele found the required information in a Book called ' Scariest places on earth.' " It's here," she said, and the others left
