Contracted To The Col-Hearted Bilionaire

Contracted To The Col-Hearted Bilionaire

“Statements that weren’t true.” “Well,” he said at last, “this changes matters. If what you’re saying is correct, someone has been contacting firms under your name. We take identity misuse extremely seriously.” I pressed a hand to my forehead as dizziness seeped in. “Do you have a copy of the submission?” “Yes.” “Can you—” My voice cracked. “Can you send it to me?” “Of course. And Clarissa?” “Yes?” “You should see what was included in the appendix. It may… concern you.”

Wrong Pair of Eyes

Wrong Pair of Eyes

Osei met them in the corridor. She looked at Mia with the expression of someone who had been looking forward to a specific conversation. “Monday,” she said to Mia. “Nine am. Bring everything.” “I will,” Mia said. Dr. Osei looked at Ryder. “Your premise resolved,” she said. He stared at her. “How do you—” “The paper went out Thursday,” she said. “The journal posts submissions received on their website. I check it.” She looked at him. “The premise resolved correctly.”

Surgeon's Revenge: From Ex Wife To Country's Best Doctor

Surgeon's Revenge: From Ex Wife To Country's Best Doctor

I looked at the coffee machine. "Walden," I said. "His name isn't on it," Lauren said immediately. "It wouldn't be." My voice was flat. "There's nothing connecting it to him directly." "That's the point." I turned back to her. "Who filed it?" "Anonymous submission through the board portal." She uncrossed her arms. "Which is technically allowed under the review policy, which means we can't dismiss it on procedural grounds alone." I nodded slowly. "They'll be an informal review, they want a written response within fourteen days." Lauren said, breaking the silence. "If the response is satisfactory it doesn't go further. If someone on the board decides it warrants

‘After you straight up told me this all was a bad idea? Raine shrugged. ‘Look, you did it. It’s done. I just think that she is nice and it wouldn’t hurt to have someone we can actually talk to. Right now, we are pretty isolated. It’s both a blessing and a curse.’ I sighed, knowing she was right. Replying with a quick ‘have a good day as well’, I dug through my email. One that was in my junk made my heart skip a beat. It was the results from my GED test. Mr. Anderson did say it would be three to five business days. Clicking on the email, I read through it as quickly as I could.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

Rejected

Rejected

When he finally got up, with a heavy but determined heart, the moon was getting higher in the sky. He walked back to the clearing, where Gabriel and Amelia were waiting with eager eyes. "I've made my choice," Ethan said in a steady voice. "But first, I have to do something." He turned and walked toward the middle of the area without saying anything else. There, in the moonlight, he raised his arms to the sky and let out a long, sad howl that could be heard all through the night. It was a cry of letting go, letting go of the pain of being rejected, and welcoming the future. The moon seemed to answer by sending him a bright flash of light.

Submission is Not My Style

Submission is Not My Style

I let the words linger, watching how his hands clench into fists. He looks away, frustration flickering across his face. I exhale, exhaustion weighing down on me. “I’m done repeating myself.” Travis rubs a hand down his face, then turns to his mother. “Mum…” He hesitates. Then, with a sigh, “Maybe I should just accept the rejection.” Diana’s face darkens immediately. “What?” she hisses. “She doesn’t want to accept the natural law of our world,” he mutters. “She doesn’t want to submit. Maybe I should just accept—”

She was sure they would be thrilled with the offer. All of a sudden, there was a small knock on Riley's window. She looked over and saw another note taped to it. Her first thought went to Ollie, and her heart broke. She just wished he would move on as this obsession and crush on Riley was getting a little old. She walked over and opened the window as she sat on the bench of the bay window. She grabbed the note and opened it up. It read that she would always be his... Who was he? Was this from Ollie? And why would she be his? This note made absolutely no sense, and so she tossed it in the trash and walked over to the bed. It was probably just a prank, or Ollie's trying to make amends with the

You Will Regret Rejecting Me

You Will Regret Rejecting Me

"But the composition does. And the archive wants to resubmit the eligibility documentation with the corrected list before the authentication review proceeds." "How long does resubmission take?” Kaela said. "Officially, ten working days. In practice, " Voss tilted his head slightly, "longer, if the archive is managing other sequencing priorities." There it was. Not a threat. Not even a pressure. Just the quiet institutional mathematics of timing as resource. Kaela wrote a word in her folio. Sequencing. Then she looked at it and crossed it out, because writing it down would have made her feel like she was tracking the conversation, when what she needed to do was
