However, a few years after my mom lost her battle with liver disease, my dad suffered a stroke and passed away. Adam stepped up to care for me and has been doing an awesome job of it.

Daisy's POV I was in dad's office helping him to clear out some files on the table. I was to put the old files into the cabinet and put the new ones into his drawer. That way, he'd know which file to deal with after our vacation from Hawaii. He begged me to help him out while he went off to a meeting with his crew members.
