When I Hacked the Snow Prince

When I Hacked the Snow Prince

I quickly fish out my water bottle from my bag to give them. "Hey, Captain!" Brent calls, right when I hand my bottle to Asher. He come toward us with a mischievous grin on his face and I already knew what he was up to. "I just wanted to ask you a question. Do you know why polar bears don't eat penguins?" He asks looking at Asher. Great! He is going to humiliate me more than I expected. "Because penguins live in the southern hemisphere and polar bears live in the northern hemisphere," Asher replies with a frown, confused at the unexpected question from Brent.

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

851 AD The first snow of the winter was building on the horizon, casting out its tendrils of freezing winds to clear the way. Harvest was well and truly over and the men had returned from their hunting trips to now help with the final touches in securing the Pack's dens for the winter. The season could be cruel here but the wolves had learnt how to fare against the harsh conditions without the aid of the human settlement some fifteen kilometres to the south. But that was because the Northern Star pack had something that other packs didn't; their Luna was a witch.

The Dark Below

The Dark Below

written in the Jakalorn native language. Inside the Black Panther’s hovel is a living space the size of a master bedroom that one would find in a castle or fort. On one side are old and used bunk beds that have unmade sheets and lightly feathered pillows on the ground. In the middle of the room is a transference altar, the same one that Malakai had in his bedroom. Though this altar is made from dirty stone and the orbs in the middle that holds the rosmalt together also have specs of grim around the orb and all across the staff and centerpiece of the pedestal. There is one section dedicated to bathing. There are two tubes that are filled with clean water that ever so slightly overflows. The s

The Devil's Kiss

While he was busy showing off his skills to them, I was prepping myself for the real attack that will end his dominion for good. Southern hemisphere two days later... The place was cold as expected with -89.2°C or -128.6°F. We are in the middle of the frozen sea almost eleven meters deep. Oslec uses his ax-like hammer to dig a hole that is large enough to fit a man. Then Hiro took out a piece of shell from his right jacket pocket and blow a whistle from it. We waited for a few minutes before we saw multiple bubbles popping out from the water and flowing out from the hole.

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

Sky reflexively sharpened her gaze at him. Suddenly, Summer's laughter filled the air. Her eyes sparkled brightly like the morning star. "That's a really cool plan! Where else can we see penguins, seals, and whales if not at the South Pole? I want to meet them too. Please take me with you!" Summer asked, raising her hand. The others gasped at the toddler's wish. "Summer? Have you forgotten? You're not old enough to go to the South Pole. Besides, the journey is very dangerous!" River exclaimed, reminding her.

Daddy's Issues

Daddy's Issues

Halo's eyes shine and glisten, but he looks down to see Gael taking a picture with his own smartphone. Gael Slater: Ugh! I gotta get a better camera. This android makes everything look like civil war footage. Halo Noel: Perhaps we should pay a visit to the penguins. Gael Slater: I've been dying to feed a southern rockhopper. Halo chuckles and Gael pouts as he puts his phone away. Halo looks around at the activities around him. To his far left, a figure dressed in a fluffy dolphin costume dips to his knee. The flash of his modern polaroid goes off, and the mascot stands to approach the family of four. Halo taps Gael's left shoulder and the boy looks up at him.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

"We’ve got two of the old deep-sea extraction pods we stole from the refinery vaults last winter, Zora. They’re slow, they leak grease, and their manual ballast valves are rusted half-shut—but they’re completely un-indexed by the cartel’s tracking servers. If we drop them through the frozen drainage chute beneath the pier, we can slide right under their electronic field before they register our presence." "Load them up," I commanded, the sovereign resonance returning to my lungs with a force that caused the ice on the dock pilings to shatter. "Vance, stay on the terminal console. Keep those cranes moving the grain. Dante and I are going down into the trench." “The water will be cold, Zora,”

Dear Ex Husband Wants Me Back

Dear Ex Husband Wants Me Back

"This one is farther. Half a day's sail. An old lighthouse on a rock stack. There's a boy there. Name is Finn. He's fifteen. He can breathe underwater." "Breathe underwater?" Jaden's eyes went wide. "Modified gills," Sable said. "The Council tried to make deep-sea workers. Most died. Finn survived." I looked at the sky. Clouds were gathering in the west. "We need to move fast. Storm coming." Sable nodded. She fired up the engine, and we pushed away from the black sand beach. Wren sat beside me on a wooden crate. She still didn't speak. But she was watching. Learning. Her brown eyes followed everything Sable did, everything Kai said, everything Jaden dropped in the water.

I replied. "Okay. I didn't like Hendra that much anyway." He sighed. "About Earth... It's beautiful." I smiled. "Is it true there are so many animals?" "Yes." "Awesome!" He squealed. Dolhq only has white doves and fish in the ocean. We don't have any land animals so yes Dolhq also has its disadvantages. "Come Alexio," I stated holding out my hand as the door flew open. He took my hand and we walked into the massive building.

I just started the story, and I'm already feeling curious about who or even what Sebastian is! The personality of Jane might seems a lil aberrant when she can accept a strange stalker into her house, but that's what makes the start interesting.

I'm giving it an early review since I really want to read all the chapters of this book! I was stunned by how well Jane's backstory was made and how well the author makes me guess of who or what Sebastian really is. Development of the story is superb!300 characters for a review wasn't enough for me!
