Rachel responded in her usual chipper mood. "Yeah, I just woke up an hour ago. I know it's almost midday, that's what weekends are for." "So what are you doing?" Sara hesitated, "I'm not doing anything, just chilling in my room." "That's so boring! It's summer, you should be out doing stuff!" "It's too hot to be doing anything on days like these." Sara complained, "Honestly, sometimes I freaking hate summer. I've barely moved and I already feel like I need a shower, it's gross!"

That was all that meant. Summer was in the living room. She had her phone in her hand and she looked up when she heard us come down. Her eyes went to me first, then to Susan, then back to somewhere neutral. "Are you not eating before you leave?" Gray asked from across the room. I opened my mouth. "He has plans," Summer said. "With Susan." It landed flat. Not mean, just flat. Gray looked between us briefly and then said, "Okay. Have fun. Take care." And went back to what he was doing.

Like the schemer she is, she winks, then places her finger at the center of her lips. Here we go. "There's really no big deal. You just walk up to him when he's alone, tell him you met someone that looks like him during summer in Mexico, and watch his expression. There." Everyone asked at the same time and Joel felt it was awkward, "it was meant to be your graduation gift but anyways, it's not too late or early to tell you now" He smiled and Beatrice was more shocked, she couldn't believe what was happening. Six weeks later..... I've been having an awful feeling at work, I shouldn't have drink that octopus soup that Cameron recommended me to at lunch today. It was my first time eating octopus and yuck! It taste disgusting. I can't even concentrate on my work because of the awful feeling and my stomach is so upset. "Are you OK Jada?" Lucas asked me. "I think I'm coming down with something" I said weakly. "Must of been the octopus soup you guys had for lunch... Next time don't eat what you're not use to " Jasmine grinned causing me to frowned.

Maybe I was destined to feel this only for him. "Well we have to leave you now, Joshua has to open up the salon and I have to meet with the real estate agency." Anthony said as he and Joshua got up. "Well see each other this weekend for camping, Summer you said you know a perfect spot." Huh, Summer had no clue, somehow I think she never even went camping. "Yes, my driver will pick us all up and drop us off." Summer said, her eyes shined as she looked at Anthony. It was either the shine of love or the shine of a hangover, either way it was nice to see.

It was a tight, strange cuddle. It felt almost final. Summer pushed carefully away and smiled, she swiftly manoeuvred around her mum and opened the front door, never truly realizing that when she hit the evening air, how relieved she had felt to escape her home. Her thoughts didn’t last long though, as the bus to Ecklemoore Village was approaching the end of her road, and without further delay, summer made a run for it.

I took a couple of pictures of us, dance with Kal on my arms as I planted a kiss on his forehead. We headed home and I went inside my room to change and took a long bath. That night my parents went in my room when I was about to sleep. We talk about the deal and that I should prepare for Mr. Cold-foot, I mean Mr. Cole Ford will be coming any day this week.
