Nick said trying his best to look tired even though he already was. ***************** After breakfast, Nick cleared the dishes and once he was done, he skipped wildly up the stairs, into his room. When he opened his room door, a gush of creepy chilly breeze washed over him which opened another door in his body for a stupid migraine, threatening to take over him. He slowly and quietly walked over to his safe, opened it and took out the pearl. He was curious to know about the whereabouts of the pearl and how it got here. He decided to try his luck by summoning the old man of earlier which he still hadn't seen.

I tried to wriggle out of his touch, but he just dragged me with him. ___ I was still wondering how to get the pin. It definitely needed a four-digit number, and there was no way in hell I would turn my back now. I found the door and all I needed was a pin. "Ruby, what are you doing here?" Pearl's voice echoed through the hallway. "Just walking." I continued walking and Pearl matched her pace with mine. "You know, I'm so excited! I went to the furniture shop and our new home. It felt heavenly!" Pearl's grey eyes were shining brightly as she said those words, making me smile.

I never knew that my eyes could produce this much of tears. Until, a car came while banging the horn continuously. I wasn’t in my best mind and that explained why I realized way too late that….the car was speeding ahead….towards me. All that I remember was how the car was coming and afterwards, how with an instant, everything went black. The world melted all around me, leaving me and my tears to have some rest, forever. **** When life comes hitting Pearl, her heart and soul wants to rest forever. But how long will this rest last?

He smiled at me, but I could see the worry on his face. He closed his eyes, focusing on the pearl. I watched him closely, waiting for something to happen. I was so damn nervous that my forehead was starting to sweat. Finally, after what felt like a million years, the pearl began to glow in his hand. It glowed so brightly like a small sun. It was blinding and in a flash it encompassed us both and then disappeared. "Does that mean it worked?" I asked him. "Yes, my little sun. It worked."
