Novel & Cerita Summer Book

" And our homecoming king this year is...... drum roll please. Bobby Styles." The student teacher,Miss Dawn cheered. As the drum rolls died down, Bobby took his place on the stage and a crown was set on top of his perfect chestnut brown hair. Summer's heart raced, it was only obvious, she was going to be homecoming queen. She knew that Bobby would have pulled a few strings to make that possible. He was the most popular guy in school. The football captain, landing a scholarship for football and law at the University of Brits. That was the main reason Summer had applied and had been accepted into Brits as well. Although she had applied to all five universities, her heart were set on one.

After Elise's incident, Greyson had always been hostile toward me. Instead of opening the letter, I directly set it on fire in the bathroom. The firelight gave my face a golden glow. I smiled at myself in the mirror and said, "To the 18-year-old Nicola, have you received the apology letter? Don't forgive them. Don't forgive anyone who ever hurt you!" The letter quickly finished burning, and all that was left in the trash can was a pile of ash. Online opinion immediately reversed after Greyson's involvement. Netizens lamented Elise's viciousness.

“That’s partnership. You need to be there for your film. We’ll make the logistics work.” The idea was both appealing and terrifying. Having her family present versus managing children at a professional event. Support versus complication. “Let me see which festivals we get into first. Then we decide logistics.” That afternoon, Charlotte came home from pre-K with information about summer camp options. The school offered a summer program three weeks in July, half-day structure, enrichment activities. “Can I go to summer camp? PLEASE? Sophie is going and Emma and Zoe and EVERYONE!” Charlotte was enthusiastic. “They do ART and SCIENCE and WATER PLAY!”

Natasha The final bell rings and kids squeal as they push the front doors open and race to the freedom that summer break brings. “Bye, Ms. Knight. What are you doing this summer?” Sarah, one of my avid readers asks as she walks slowly toward the door. “I’ll be reading. What else?” I tell her. “And actually, if you're interested, the library has summer reading group Wednsdays at noon. So come see me.” I have a feeling she doesn't have the greatest home life, or social life for that matter. I wonder if she has many friends.

As summer arrived, the Bloodmoon and Silverpine Packs embraced the warmth and vibrancy of the season. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, the rustle of leaves, and the distant calls of birds. With the success of their earlier workshops still fresh in their minds, Leo and Elara planned a series of summer activities designed to celebrate their growing bond and enhance their skills together. The first summer event was a “Nature Olympics,” a friendly competition that would include various challenges and games inspired by the natural world. Leo and Elara wanted to create an atmosphere of fun and teamwork, where everyone could showcase their abilities while encouraging one another.

Pov: Caleb “Bye caleb! I am really going to miss you. I’ll come visit you as soon as I can.” Brianna said as she hugged me. Her hold on me was so tight, I felt like I was being suffocated. I could not believe that the summer was already over. It had gone by so fast. I had thoroughly enjoyed myself. The guys and I took full advantage of the summer sun. We swam nearly every day, we had gone on short road trips to places like the Grand Canyon, we partied harder than we ever had. I grew a lot closer to some of my team members.

She reached for it surprised by his bold act. He kept it away from her and studied the cover. “This has to be boring.” “It is.” She rolled her eyes. “Give me my book back.” “If it’s boring and you know this, then why are you reading it?” He handed it back to her. “Because the University of Miami law school suggested these books for their first year students.” She shrugged. “I like to be prepared before a semester starts.” “It’s summertime. “I’m aware of that.” “You need to be saved.”

Solomon also looked helpless, but he really missed that noisy little girl in his heart. After watching TV with him for a while, Summer returned to the room and soaked herself in the warm bathtub for half an hour before coming out. She did not feel asleep. Sitting in front of the window, she flipped through a book casually in her hands. As she turned pages of the book, not only did her heart not calm down, but a little more...upset... Opening the window and closing her eyes quietly, Summer felt the warmth in the wind, and gradually calmed down.

“Old women here still call it by name. Tidewalker. They say it remembers blood. And it remembers when to come back.” A gust of hot wind rolled through the parking lot, carrying the smell of the ocean. Even a mile inland, it stung like salt. Jake swallowed. “And it’s a heatwave this week.” Sarah didn’t answer. She didn’t need to. The forecast on his phone said 98°F by Thursday. Across the lot, the cove glimmered under the sun. Too still. Too quiet. Suddenly there was an outburst, a good number of students hurrying out of school, all of them moving in one direction toward the lower fields. Voices overlapped — half questions, half panic.

“I’m sure you and Jessie can get in plenty of beach time over the next few days. Just like old times.” Aiden laughed, for the first time that morning feeling carefree and in her element, elated at the sheer luck of the timing. All of them, Jessie, Mitch, herself, and some other long time friends had practically made a career out of life by the shore, taking full advantage of Adelaide’s cottage being right on the water with its own private little stretch of beach, and grateful for every moment. It could prove all too easy to fall back into that breezy rhythm. “Keep talking like that and I might have to extend this trip into the whole summer.”
