June felt one growing across her face too as blood rushed to her cheeks. “So last night... we actually..” she started, picking at the leftover eggs on her plate. “Yeah.” He answered, his face softening. “Are you okay?” “Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I-I wanted it.” She stuttered out as more blood rushed to her face, causing her to be beet red. “Like I said last night, your first time was supposed to be more..special. So I promise you, June Summerfield, to give you a proper first-time next time.” He said as a half-joke, which earned a small smile from June.

Summer said while smiling at me. I just smiled. "Thanks." Summer is actually quite nicer than Winter. I just don't know why it seems like Winter hates her so much.

Cayden could only shake his head in amusement. "You're amazing, Summer. I don't even remember what my poses are." "That's because I'm your fan!" The curve of Cayden's lips turned slanted. "If you're my fan, why did you order the shirt that Louis wore?" "Oh? This?" Summer looked down and checked. "I like the color, blue like the sky. It reminds me of Mama." "Not because you prefer Louis?" Cayden raised an eyebrow. Suddenly, Summer chuckled embarrassedly. Emily and Sky widened at that response.

Every summer, we would sell out the houses to vacationers. “Alpha!” I turned to look at Ricky, my Gamma, leaning out of the door. He was motioning to me, and I sighed. Unhooking my arm from Helena, I walked over to him. “What is it, Gamma?” “So, we have most places booked through the next couple of months. Plus, we are completely booked for June, July and August already as well. The plan for the last 4th of July and the Summer Festival worked swimmingly.” He winked.

I still didn't get why they liked him. He was handsome, but well… I couldn’t quite get it. Maybe because he was my brother. Summer break was getting close in California, and there was something about the way the sun made everything smell that I loved. I had decided to spend June at my elder brother’s apartment before I resumed college. My brother, Davis, had moved out when he was nineteen and had been living alone ever since he started college. He was pissed off when I told him I was coming over, but what could he do to me?

"Double date? With who and who?" "Julius, me, you and Ricardo" Summer replied as if it was obvious. Lisa scoffed. "You have to be kidding me." "I'm being serious." "It's... It's not going to happen." "Hear me out first." Summer persuaded and dropped the folk in her hand. Lisa shook her head. "It is not..." "Wait," Summer interrupted. "Please, hear me out first." "Okay." "Because it's Friday, Julius and I decide to go clubbing."

It was, like most human things, something in between. July arrived and with it the particular quality of a settled summer — not the tentative warmth of June, which still carried traces of spring's uncertainty, but the full committed heat of a city in summer that had stopped apologizing for itself. Aria liked this quality of July. She liked the commitment of it, the way it made no promises about cooling and instead simply was what it was.

“She’s on your side, or at least claims to be… Aren't you… friends of some sort?" She chuckled and shook her head. "You sweet summer child." My face heated. "What does that mean?" "It's a saying about children and seasons." "Is this… from across the border?" She nodded. "A child born in a season only remembers the season after. Summer children only see the outcomes: the harvest of fall. They don't see the blistering days of tilling the land, the winter, etc. You are a summer child: optimistic, full of hope. It's adorable and attractive on you, and… surprising."

“Do you really think we can pull that off?” “I think if anyone can, it’s you.” She laughed, shaking her head. “You’re unbelievable.” “I believe in you,” he said, voice low and serious. She leaned into him, touched beyond words. Then Marla interrupted with a tug on her sleeve. “Can I have ice cream now?” River raised an eyebrow. “We just had lunch.” “But Mommy said it’s summer. Summer means ice cream anytime.” Skye grinned. “Can’t argue with that.” “Deal,” River said, standing. “Let’s go celebrate our first real summer as a family.”

Clearing his throat to speak, he quickly changes his demeanor to Alpha in charge. “As you know, Hazel Summers’s coming-of-age ceremony and her first shift celebration are happening this weekend, which is in a few days. Along with the summer moon festival and moonlight run the following week.” Alpha Radar folded his arms over his massive chest as he spoke. His eyes give nothing away of his emotions, and his gaze never leaves mine.
