Betrayed by The Exchange

Betrayed by The Exchange

Not ever. Summer sat by the window, staring out into the darkness. The cold breeze from the open window brushed against her skin, but the chill in the air was nothing compared to the unease gnawing at her chest. Hilda had just left for the night, and now she was alone, consumed by thoughts of what Jessica was planning. Her mind couldn't settle, turning over the conversation she'd overheard earlier. Jessica's words echoed in her mind—When the foxes leave tomorrow, Summer will go with them.

The Heiress' Mysterious Bodyguard

The Heiress' Mysterious Bodyguard

Summer continued, giggling. Sky, who was moving the dishes from the trolley to the table, immediately glanced at her suspiciously. "What's the money for?" "For buying many things. I've been seeing a lot of delicious food and cool stuffs lately. I want to buy some for Grandpa and Grandma." "For example?" Cayden raised an eyebrow. Summer's gaze shifted to him. "A reindeer-shaped water bottle. Grandpa can bring it when he works on the farm, or maybe when he travels with Grandma. They'll look cute if their water bottles are matching."

The Summer of Jake and Sarah

The Summer of Jake and Sarah

One of them, Señora Mendes, gripped the younger woman’s arm hard enough to bruise. “Tidewalker,” she whispered. The word felt wrong in the morning air. “Tidewalker,” another echoed, and the name passed between them like a curse. When the younger woman asked what it meant, Señora Mendes didn’t look up from the black water. “They say,” she muttered, eyes fixed on the bloated hands floating just beneath the surface, “when too much blood hits the water at once, the ocean remembers. And when summer burns hot enough... it comes back to drink again.”

Fated To My Lycan Brother

Fated To My Lycan Brother

Penelope, as I read on her badge, said. She had pretty hazel eyes, and I could swear her natural hair was brunette. Her teeth seemed artificial, too, and from her statement, I could tell she had difficulty pronouncing some words. Summer waved the book she had snatched from me and said. "She's not anything like us and will never be. She belongs to the trash." I scowled and yanked the book out of her hand. "I'll be waiting for you in the car if you'll excuse me," I gave her a tight-lipped smile and walked away.

I’m loving the bad nerd boy so far. I was wondering if you have already wrote How to be a bad boy? I was wanting to put it in my library. I also wanted to know if you have any of your other books that are listed on taming the wild ceo on other reading apps or just on GoodNovel?

Awesome story! It was written really well but did get a little confusing at times, timeline wise. Is the special chapter that ended with Nat approaching Ellie the end altogether or will there be more? Any chance for a follow up on everyone and all? Good job again author! 😊

The Summer I Left

The Summer I Left

Over summer break, right after graduation, my parents, Stuart and Rachel Powell, decided the whole family would take a road trip together. But the moment I hauled my suitcase up to the car door, Mom's hand shot out to stop me. "There's no room. Maybe you should just sit this one out." She glanced back at the seat behind her. "Aiden doesn't want you along, either. He's not feeling well right now, so give way to him." My knuckles went white on the suitcase handle, and my throat turning bitter. Aiden was the biological son they'd lost years ago and only just found again. Ever since he came back, everything that used to be mine had gone to him. Slowly, I'd been pushed to the margins of t

Not Part Of His Plan

Not Part Of His Plan

Summer picked up the book she left in the living room and she walked back to the kitchen to sit with Spring, as Ruby made lunch. She would be going out soon because it was her birthday tomorrow, and she was planning to get some things to prepare for it. “Stop pulling that, Spring. Leave your sister alone.” She said when she saw Spring pulling at Summer’s book. He loved to pick on her sometimes like that, but she was always there to stop him. Spring laughed. "I was just messing with her, but she's a crybaby.” He said as Summer’s eyes started to water with tears.

My summer crush

My summer crush

Yet somehow… my mind still drifted toward a stubborn eighteen-year-old girl with pink bandages and reckless eyes. Ava. Even after three days away from her, she still found a way into my thoughts like she belonged there. And that was the real problem. I exhaled sharply and grabbed the whiskey bottle from the table, pouring another glass. Outside, Pasadena glittered beneath the night sky. Beautiful. But inside the hotel suite, I already knew the truth. This summer was becoming dangerous in ways I never expected.
