Puck Me Behind The Mask
I’m exhausted, my body is wrecked, and yet I’m lying here sexting the mascot of our team.
Barnabythebear: Mmm, I bet you do. I bet you look good in it, too.
I let out a long, frustrated sigh, scrubbing a hand over my face. The stubble rasps against my palm. I’m losing this game. I’m playing defense, and he’s already skating circles around me.
I drop the phone onto the duvet beside me. The screen glows up at the ceiling, illuminating the plaster with a cold, blue light. I close my eyes, but the words are burned into the back of my eyelids. I bet you look good in it, too.
