Stella grumbled the entire way. ‘He doesn’t need to come.’ She muttered. ‘Look Stella, it’s hard to trust people these days. If I didn’t know Artemis I wouldn’t be here.’ Alfie said. Heat rushed to my cheeks and I remembered our kiss at the restaurant. I didn’t even eat. ‘What are you anyway?’ ‘A witch.’ ‘What clan?’ Alfie looked at the door of the shady bar and took a step back. He pulled up his jacket sleeve. He flexed his muscles and two wings drew themselves on his arm.

Hendrix fell on his face, pleading for his life. "Your majesty, have mercy! It was my wolf's week and I had to shift so I needed to excuse myself from your presence." Hendrix cowered. "But when I was back, all that had happened had already happened." Hendrix knew more than anyone else what the Alpha was capable of doing. He was no man or beast, he was a demon; one more than ready to kill. Alex remembered he had mentioned something about his wolf's week to him before but he still felt something was off.

Alfie stretched both his arms wide, and a blast of energy struck the priest's face and chest. The strike was like a violent gust of wind, and it sounded like faint thundering.
