I averted my gaze because I didn’t want to feel barer than before. ‘How did that happen?’ I asked myself. ‘What was that?’ “I just want to talk to you, Arianna,” he said. “Oh.” “I’m not here to bang you as Michael and Renald did.” I winced, feeling like a slut because I did it with two men in one day. “Despite my urges to do so.” I heard him clear his throat. “So, you feel the urges too?” I asked, even though I already knew the answer. “It’s way worse for us supernatural creatures,” he explained. “I bet you already realize by now that our instincts are that of beasts. We are controlled by primordial instincts much more than humans”

I’m used to Jonathan’s crazy inventions, but that’s different from all this. I am not used to the idea of there being werewolves and vampires. If they are real, what the fuck else is? Fairies? Leprechauns? Genies? Legit, how much of Supernatural is real? Are there hunters out there like Sam and Dean? Is there a God? If he’s anything like Chuck, it would explain why the world is fucked.

"Connie, your only son is a disgusting, gay man. How can you be the head of the family when you're going to die without any descendants?!" Her words had successfully caught everyone's attention, and heads immediately spun around to stare at Sahara. Supernatural authorities are already here. Three black SUVs pull up at the tree line. Doors open and vampires step out. Six of them, all wearing dark suits and official badges. The Supernatural Enforcement Division. They handle crimes that the Veil keeps hidden from human authorities. The lead vampire is tall and ancient-looking, with pale skin and cold eyes that have seen centuries of death. He walks toward me with the kind of confidence that comes from being an apex predator. "Callum Brennan?" His voice is smooth and emotionless.

He placed a hand on her thigh, squeezing it gently and she settled her hand over his. "This is what I know." he began, "The common Supernatural species known to humanity are the Werewolves, Vampires and Witches. We are the only three races that don't mind being out in the open, however, since we're vastly different, a treaty had been created between the Supernatural beings and humankind. "Though it was just the three main races, the treaty states that it classified all Supernatural beings, but the humans outside the white house wouldn't have a single clue how deep our world is." he ran his fingers through his hair, letting it slowly fall back into place.

Mikhail is a hybrid, which means he’s half-angel and half-demon. Angels dream of their mates, and demons tend to lose control of their demon selves slowly. Their bodies become more uncontrollable and violent. We’re definitely more volatile. Vampires are basically the same. They crave more blood, and wolves can smell their mates. Th

“Gosh no, I didn’t want to cheat on my mate.” I nearly choked on my grape. “And how’s that working out for you?” I spluttered out when I’d finally swallowed the blasted thing. Casper threw his hands over his face when he realised what he’d said. “Sorry, but you know what I mean. Come on, you haven’t had sex for the same reason, right?” “Hell no!” I said, rather enjoying seeing him squirm. “I haven’t had sex because I’m gay, and incase you haven’t noticed, there aren’t exactly many gay werewolves around.”

“Wow. How is this possible?” His mouth quirks shyly. “It’s possible. Trust me, I’m not the only one either. Mikhail is an angel/demon hybrid, Carrick is a werewolf, Rowan is a vampire, and my foster father, Alex, is a dhampir. Almost everyone I know is a supernatural being.” I huff in wonder. “Holy cow, does Haley know about Carrick? What about Nevaeh?” He shrugs his shoulders. “Um… Neveah knows about Khail, but I don’t know about Haley.”

Too high and full of himself. That's not the only issue, though. As it turns out, vampires have enough humanity left in them to sort out sexual orientations. I never thought that the bloodsuckers would prefer a specific gender to feel from, or maybe they don't, and only Augustus is a weirdo, but apparently, this vampire is gay. Since he figured out that there's such a thing as acceptance in these times, he's been dead set on courting me. Hence the reason why I rather sleep in the cold, wet cave than enjoy the comforts of his mansion.
