Now go away, if you won’t go out with me and won’t believe me, we have nothing more to say.” He yanked his headphones back on and plugged his TV back into the wall. Seconds later, his eyes were immersed in the screen, and he was commentating something to whoever was on the other side of the camera.

“It is within all of your best interests to stand down.” Jaspar Fox’s voice rang throughout the crowd, strong and very much alive. The wolves he had brought with him twitched their tails in irritation, we were evenly matched now. I could see shimmering eyes deep within the forest, watching and waiting from the outside. “Defy your Alpha and take your own life into your hands, because soon Marcus Novak will be dead.” Jaspar looked towards me and somehow, I was able to decipher the words within his pale colored eyes. He was asking me a question, a simple yes or no. It took only a few seconds, reaching out with my magic before I had the answer.

But it wasn't what actually happened. Shawn gripped Jim's fist, which was inches from his face. His supernatural strength outranking his mortal strength. Blonski was flabbergasted and a bead of sweat drizzled down his temple with confusion. Whispers permeated across the room in surprise and wonder. Shawn peered over to Jim and smirked, his brown eyes glowed brighter to his surprise. "Something wrong?" Blonski retracted back his arm and took cautious steps back. "What the heck are you, some kind of freak?!"

So, maybe he isn't the right option. I try to think of anyone else in town who believes in the supernatural. There’s got to be someone nearby that will have an answer on how to get rid of werewolves. But it's difficult because those kinds of peoples are always ones that I thought were crazy before. I never took them seriously enough to have them stay in my mind. This is so hard watching Jimmy go through this. I don’t think I will ever forget the night he fainted in front of the kitchen door. My heart hurts right along with his. Even though he was unconscious, he was clutching his chest while tears ran down his cheek. I don’t think I can remember a time when Jimmy has ever cried before. That night, tears streamed down his face most of the night while he was unconscious. I force a smile and sit down next to him. “Hey, I have some good news about Tommy, if you want to hear.”

He looks at Noah again, before slowly standing to his feet and taking a breath in then letting it out. "I swear, if anyone tries to touch him, I'll fucking kill you!" Jimmy said, and Noah gave him a soft smile. It warmed Noah's heart, hearing how protective he was of this little Omega that's already been through hell. Especially after knowing what happened between Jimmy and his son. As angry as Noah was when he first heard what happened between Jimmy and Gabriel, he can't find it in himself to be angry at Jimmy right now. He can tell there's something deeper going on here and he wants to find out what it is. A normal person wouldn't act like this, even after what they've done.

He let his voice trail off, continuing to swing around the bloody arrow as if it were a teaching instrument. Jimmy nodded solemnly. Spock’s agreement was frantic. “But Doc said you’re just some adventurer named Stefan.” His voice was twice as stupid as his statement. “Ya idiot.” Jimmy grunted at him. “You're going to get us killed!” Stefan looked between the two of them before pointing at Spock with the arrow. “I’ll probably leave him alive. I have a problem with killing less sentient beings.” Spock smiled and looked at Jimmy. “He’s gonna let me live.” He said hysterically.

This was harder than he thought. “He's not lying Cassie, we are werewolves,” Jim added. “Of course you're in on it, too.” Cassie chuckled sarcastically. But as her tears were drying, she noticed something strange, like freaky fucking strange. Right before her eyes, Jim's wounds started to heal, the claw marks on his cheeks and his busted lip looked as good as new. Even his eye was once again showing its beautiful blue orbs. “NO. FUCKING. WAY!”

“That won’t happen! I promise! I can swear an oath to you right now!” Then, he immediately took a vow, “I, Jimmu Melqart, swear in the name of the Heavenly Path that I will never betray…” He abruptly paused and looked at James, asking, “M-May I ask for your name?” James replied calmly, “James Caden.” Jimmu started over again. “I, Jimmu Melqart, swear in the name of the Heavenly Path that I will never betray James Caden and will help him acquire information from the Sanctuary of Darkness. If I fail to stay loyal, I shall be erased from existence!”
