And now, the moment I had been waiting for had finally arrived. "You go ahead, Mom will catch up with you at the ceremony," Mom said. She stroked my cheek. "I know you're nervous, but you have to be confident. You're going to be a great Luna, Deli." "Yes, Mom," I nodded. I left the house and got into the car with Benson and Tracy. My heart was pounding as the car drove down the road. I am Delilah Ramones, and at the age of 19, I am about to be betrothed to Jeremy Davenport and become his Luna. Jeremy had just been appointed Alpha, from a family of considerable influence in the city.

He rolled his eyes at his Beta’s antics, but there was a smile in the corner of his lips. Then my eyes fell on the short woman next to Tristan. With her short dark hair cut in a bob and her big brown eyes, she looked cute as a pixie. But I had a feeling that she could turn to a spitfire in a moment if she was pissed off. Just my kind of girl… “HI! I am Susan, the Beta female,” she introduced herself brightly, and I smiled at her in response. “Come with me! We don’t have much time!” she declared before pulling me along with her, and I turned back to Zane with wide eyes. And he had the audacity to shrug at me without even bothering to hide his smirk. The nerve!

He was furious. Then, a soft knock came from his door. He thought it might be Sara coming to play with him. He was surprised to find Susan instead. A petite figure stood at the door. It was not Sara, but Susan. Susan was wearing a flowy long dress hugging her alluring figure. Under the moonlight, her face was extremely sexy and seductive. Darryl really had to admit that Susan maintained her looks very well, like his own mother-in-law Samantha. Susan was in her thirties, yet she looked like she was barely in her twenties—her standing next to Sara and Rachel looked more like siblings than mother and daughters.

Each one of them bowed their heads. “I present to you, the next Alpha of the Stella pack,” My Dad began, raising my hand, “Alpha Cato Loren!” The crowd burst into applause as I gazed out at them, my shoulders back and my chin high. “His Luna, Jessica Michaels. And his Beta, Elias Smith.” The crowd only grew wilder, their howls and whistles echoing through the forest. My parents and Blair stepped off the podium, leaving the three of us. Me in the middle, Elias and Jess on either side. This was our pack, and I was on top of the world.

Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. My mother and father give me a stern look, acknowledging my close to late arrival. I smile and continue with some small talk with Luna Rachel as Alpha Jackson continues speaking with Alpha Zachary and his Beta Sam. Luna Rachel is a beautiful woman. With her blond hair, brown eyes, and petite frame she is clearly the light in Alpha Zackary’s eyes.

Offering my snarky remarks and ungenial comments. But it wasn’t anyone else. It was Sienna. The future Luna of this pack. And she was currently, very inelegantly, trying to run away from me. She seemed to have not rhought her escape route through properly however, when she came to an abrupt halt, cliging to the down pipe like her life depended on it. The looked about herself, apparently unsure what to do next. It was at that point that everything happened incredibly quickly. The one screw that held the pipe to the wall fell loose, quickly followed by the pipe breaking free from the bracket, and swinging down through the air in a wide ark towards the floor below.

Tiana, the current elder of the witches faction released a low peal of sarcastic laughter. "I thought bearing the title of an elder makes you mature but obviously you still have a trace of stupidity in you." Suzy walked in and removed her jean jacket before settling next to me. "Excuse you, who are you?" Tiana cocked a brow and stood arms akimbo. "Even your tone is laced with an element of dullness, I'm Sussan Delaney and I'm not pleased to meet you." She scoffed. "What makes you think I will be thrilled to meet a hoe-looking bitch!" Tiana booed her with her thumbs facing downward.

Just at the moment Lyra, and Delilah strode into the room, I was sure they heard everything. With a swift movement she, turned removing her mask. “It took you long enough to find me. Oh! Shut up you fool Melissa” Susie said as she pulled off the mask. My heart sank hearing the words from her, one who I loved and trusted like a sister. Lyra and Delilah screamed in shock as they both heard this. “Susie is Hayley, Ryker's sister?” Delilah screamed, her lips trembling !!. “How on earth is this possible she was on our side, she was our ally, How did we get fooled by her” Lyra spoke as tears formed in her eyes.

No lupus garou but her would be Caleb’s mate. The smell of Ragnar pelted Diana before she caught sight of him. Turning, she found he’d sneaked up behind her, sniffing. She was sure he tried to see if Caleb was still keeping her well satisfied. She snarled at Ragnar. He shoved his way between her and Vernetta, his black fur standing on end, his neck just as thick as she’d remembered it, his body hefty and deadly.

I look at the crowd and butterflies erupt in my stomach as the chatter gets louder. "She is an Omega; how dare she think that someone as weak as her could lead a warrior pack?" I hear a voice and the crowd turns towards the person who spoke. There was chatter among the pack as they looked at me—some with pity, some with disgust, and others just stared at me curiously. Andrea stepped forward, crossing her arms over her chest and smirked at me. "I, Andrea Constantia, Delta of the Blood Moon Pack, challenge Valentina Charlotte Winston for the Luna position," she declared, as I knew she would. I know she won't back off until she gets Damon.
