Disgusting honestly. Fresh anger twisted violently through my chest while I ripped the package open immediately with trembling fingers. The pills stared back at me silently. Tiny and life changing. My throat tightened painfully for one horrible second. Then before I could change my mind… Before guilt could stop me, I swallowed all of them. Every single one. I didn’t even read the prescription written on it, i just swallow everything inside the bottle. My breathing became heavier afterward while I leaned against the desk trying to calm the panic suddenly exploding inside my chest.

She couldn't control her emotions so she squealed out loud in excitement. "Oh my ghaaaad!!!" Anna dipped another cookie in her mouth, then another, then another. She ate them with her eyes rolled to the back in enjoyment and her eyes closed. She has completely forgotten that she was in the presence of Courtney. She opened her eyes and made to take another one when she saw Prince Kai staring at her in amusement. Her eyes went to Courtney and she felt embarrassed when she saw that Courtney was trying hard not to laugh. Anna swallowed the chewed cookie in her mouth and wiped her mouth with the back of her palm.

Where she remained for a while until she could move again. She raised her face with a reproachful look, Ha! Funny that she feels betrayed, "Why my lord, tell me what have I done to make your anger settle on me?" I got out of the water calmly. Already outside, I directed my attention to the crown that I had in my hands. I watched her with purpose, it was a mistake to have crowned that demon. I took it with two hands and pushed it towards my chest, my body swallowed it, generating a flash of light.

It approached, steps soundless across the ash. I stumbled back. My foot caught on the hem of my gown—I fell to my knees. The figure tilted its head. And without a word, it held the crown out to me. I reached— No. It loosened its fingers. The crown fell. Down. Into the fire licking at the foot of the throne. The flames devoured it in a flash of red light. I screamed— I jolted awake. Sweat drenched my skin. My heart thundered in my ears.

The other girls moved about and I covered my ears to block out the noise. A throne was in front of me with a golden crown. Somehow my fear pushed me to climb up the small stairs and lay my hand on the crown. It pierced my fingers and blood spilled from it. I tried to pull my fingers back but it was stuck. I used my other hand to pull the crown away but my finger stuck. "Help, help me" "Help me" I screamed but no one came to help. The crown sucked me in slowly and no matter how hard I pushed against it, it didn't let me go.

The bone crown pulsed with a breath that wasn’t mine. “I don’t want this,” I whispered. But the voice wasn’t heard by anyone but myself. The spirit hands gripped my shoulders. Strong, but silent. Then they forced the crown onto my head. In an instant, I couldn’t move. Not because of the pain—even though there was a sharp sting as the tiny thorns of the crown pierced my skin. But because... something was being pulled from me. Not blood. Not energy. But something more subtle. More profound. Memories.

"Release him." Her laugh shook the earth. *"Or what? You'll bleed me? *Burn* me?"* The roots tightened. Jason gasped, his eyes meeting mine-furious, terrified, *alive*. The Crown's voice slithered through me. *"Give in. Let me devour her. Let me be *whole*."* The mask fragments hummed, their whispers merging with the static. *"The Weavers lied. The Crown was never yours. It was *hers*."*

“The witch is dead, her blood is gone, my father’s lab is next, we burn it, we break the rest of his work, you get your minds back.” Murmurs. Hope. Draven steps to me, careful. “The crown,” he says. “Can you take it off.” I touch it. It burns. “I don’t know.” “Try,” he says. “For me.” I pull. Pain rips through my skull, and the crown comes away, blood on the tines. It crumbles to ash in my hand. The ferals gasp, some falling, some crying, as if a string got cut.

I can see a flash of anger in his eyes as he stares at me, his cocky grin falling from his face.

I disconnected the call and finally bank forward to pick up the crown in my hand, and I could see all those beautiful details carved over the crown, With my stone attached perfectly in the centre of the crown in between all those tiny little jewels which way beautifully outlining my Red stone of life. I realized I was smiling just looking at that crown which I was supposed to wear so to pull myself out of my dilemma I finally picked up the crown in my hand and in that moment I felt as if the time had just stopped for me, so that I could hold on to this memory forever.
