Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

"Let's all go sit out by the pool to play, we can share the swing bench." "Sure," I gulped. "Let's play." "Awesome!" Sarah crowed. "I'll get a bowl and the names." Nicole followed me and Miranda outside. The backyard was dark except for a dozen small ground lights in the gardens around the fence and a few underwater lights in the pool that made the water glow a warm blue. Sarah went to the wicker table in the centre of the sitting area and got down on her knees, pulling out a couple of larger candles. Just that act pushed her curvy ass back out against her dress as Tom, Matt and I all got a little view. As she got back to her feet, Sarah winked at me as I moved past her to the classic wooden

Stuck with My CEO Hubby

Stuck with My CEO Hubby

"So scary, I dare not go down there. Who's going down?" "Of course, this kind of thing should be done by a guy!" "Don't argue, who's good at swimming? The one who's good should go down." "How do we find anything in the dark?" "Don't we have flashlights?" With that, someone submerged the flashlight into the water. "It's waterproof, no problem!" "It's so dirty, and there are strange water plants. Could there be monsters? Should we really go down?" "What kind of monster could there be in such a small pond? At most, it's leeches."

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

"They’ve deployed their underwater propulsion sleds! We can’t roll the truck back out of this sump, Chiamaka! The exit ramp is completely submerged!" Through the dark, murky foam of the incoming flood, the high-intensity searchlights of the Vane tactical unit were cutting through the water like green lasers, growing wider and brighter by the second. The mechanical clack-click of their amphibious weapons being readied echoed off the wet masonry walls with a chilling, predatory precision.

Lanterns

Lanterns

His eyes were red as he walked out of the car. The ground was wet and there were puddles at every step. Algard walked through the thorny trees, the deeper he went, the denser the trees became. And from afar Algards eye caught a glips of something bright, there were lights in a distance. He knew that it was the warehouse. He fastened his pace and ran over towards it.

The Garden Of Rising Stars

The Garden Of Rising Stars

' Ali then shut off the light. "Awww I was hoping we could enjoy the pool." The girl whimpered pouting her lips. "Shhh." Ali shushed her smiling as he reached over for another button. 'This is the deal sealer, especially on nights like this with all the stars out.' Ali pressed the button. With the dark backyard. the pool's edges lit up with mood lights. You could visibly see the water in the pool doing a wave of different colors. Ali had custom lighting installed in the pool so they would fire off different colors flowing from one side to the other. And the women loved it just as much as he did.

His Lordship Alexander Kane

His Lordship Alexander Kane

Even with his keen vision, the interior was a blur. The swamp stretched over 10 kilometers, and anyone seeking refuge would surely be hidden in its deepest reaches. Approaching the swamp's edge, he was met with a foul, decaying stench. The trees that dotted the swamp were the only solid ground in sight. The fog was thick, and Alexander considered lighting a flame to see. However, he hesitated, aware that a single spark could ignite the swamp's methane and leave him with no path forward. With a swift motion, he leaped toward the nearest tree. It should have been simple, but alarms rang in his mind—traps!

I was hooked in reading this book. But why the sudden ending? It doesn’t make any sense. Still have alot of loose endings what happened to black maple master? The jade pendants? This is pure money making stint.

THE HEART WANTS WHAT THE HEART WANTS (Part One)

THE HEART WANTS WHAT THE HEART WANTS (Part One)

"Okay." They disappeared and soon they started hearing voices muffled by the water. Rolph motioned for Derrick to stop. From where they were, they could make out a deck and legs of people working on it. But they couldn't come up to look because a set of very big security halogen lights with wide spectrums were criss-crossing each other on the water while a third one was stationed permanently in the middle, not moving. Its beam was directly focused on the water. If a fingerling should swim close to that light, in this dark tunnel, it would be seen.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

The cave's depth curved ahead, and the faint moonlight from the entrance completely disappeared around the bend, leaving only darkness. Unable to see the ground clearly, Chantelle felt her foot step on something brittle that snapped under her weight. She jumped in fright. "Mr. Lloyd, w-what was that?" A weak light gradually flickered to life in the darkness—it was Andrew's last remaining waterproof lighter. This type of lighter was specifically designed for outdoor exploration and fire-starting, with its greatest feature being that it would still work even after falling in water. It was one of the few pieces of equipment Andrew had managed to keep.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!
