BEST FRIEND LIKE DEEDAH "I'm not buying any sweets honey!" Deedah McKenna yells from her kitchen. Those kids are at it again. Deedah always warns them not to stop at her apartment door with a bucket of expired sweets and awfully packaged chocolates. It isn't a surprise that the kids make the chocolates themselves. The person knocks again and Deedah groans before stomping to the door and yanking it open.

"-but i figured, why not spoil you a little just for one day? People don't get diabetes in a matter of a day right? " I shrug dipping a fork into the cranberry and coconut chip pie, holding back a moan. Oh, this is heavenly. "what about you? " every thing laied on the blankets are all my sweets. The boy hates peanuts and cranberry. He grins at me and pulls out his double chocolate cake with raisins "i never come unprepared. " I chuckle lightly, taking the last sip of my smoothie. It doesn't take long till we are both done filling our stomachs with excess sugar that I'm very sure would send us to the loo later in the day.

Sugar makes the mind soft. People stop pretending once their mouths are full of something sweet.”

To be fair, everything that wasn’t sleeping made Jaden hyper. Even watching a kid’s show. “Your dad says too much everything makes you hyper. If you listen to him, you’ll live on broccoli and water. Trust me, kid, you’ve got one day of ice cream freedom. Make it count.” He replied, hoping that Jaden wouldn’t take his words out of proportion.

I heard Mr obnoxious call out to me and I looked at him "Miss, You would need a lot of vegetables and fruits, you need to stay away from sweet and fattening foods and caffeine, " She says and my mouth was agape *How can I stop sweets, What if u want cake or ice cream* "Sorry doctor, can I still take cake and ice cream, " I ask her and she chuckles, I could feel Mr obnoxious gaze burning holes through my skin but I focused on the doctor and she chuckles lightly

"Yeah, Ms. Lamont. If only you were our mommy, then we could've eaten all these tasty snacks long ago." Even though I had been mentally prepared, my heart still throbbed in pain. I was going to advise them not to eat too many sweets, especially ice cream. But upon hearing what the twins said, I swallowed those words. The two pups had always liked sweets since they were little. Before the age of five, they already had cavities, which caused them to suffer unbearable pain. The dentist had said that if they continued eating sweets and cold foods, all their teeth would have to be pulled out should the cavities return.

“Are you going to bed, or do you want to hang out for a while?” “We have some ice cream in the fridge and maybe some cake left that you guys came with. Maybe we can eat those?” I replied. “You still have the sweetest tooth.” “I know! But that’s where I get my sweetness from.” I giggled in a hushed way. “Then I have to feed you those sweets for the rest of our lives, so you will never run out of sweetness….” Rest of our lives. “Then I’ll grow big and diabetic.” “But at least you’re still sweet.”

“Some skeletons should be left in the closet.” “I agree,” Scar said as she felt Maverick’s hands take hold of her shoulders. “I mean, I am sure that your sons will probably find your playroom sooner or later, and you will have to explain that. I want them to know though that their parent's marriage is based on something I am not sure is anywhere else in your family, though.”

I started to drive home with a smile playing on my lips as the two boys continued bickering behind me while Bella had fallen asleep on the passenger seat. “Okay, lower your voice, boys. Your sister is sleeping.” “Okay, mom!” They both replied in unison, but then I heard Clyde complain to me. “Mom, can I really not eat sweets anymore?” I kept my eyes on the road but answered him in a gentle tone. “Your brother is right. You should watch your diet too. You can still eat sweets but try not to have too many.” “See? I’m right.” Calvin second my words which only got us a depressed sigh from Clyde. I chuckled.
