Switching Pov In Writing Novels & Stories

My brows crease as I feel my eyes water—the very first time it stings with tears after months. However, I quickly blink them back, croaking out, “thank you.” In the next episode, there’s a double POV. I usually prefer changing POV’s with a new chapter but I couldn’t figure out how to manipulate this one. I’m so sorry if you find it overwhelming.

CHAPTER 27 San Antonio, July 2012 *flashback chapter* Someone's POV. Do you know what it's like, when your perfect, perfectly fine life suddenly takes a very strange turn and changes completely. Her complete life suddenly becomes a mess. You are no longer the main character in your own life story. Do you know what it feels like to be the second person, not the lead actor who gets the spotlight at center stage? Even if there is someone better, you will be replaced easily.

Third Person's POV Michael struggle not to watch his cute little Omega practically dancing around while killing people. Laughing and cracking silly jokes, those jokes stunning his victim before he moves in to strike. Michael's POV My goddess, I was so thankful the moment we cleared our section because I swear I couldn't hold back any longer. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or try to fuck my mate right here in front of everyone. Noah is truly a work of art. I tried so hard not to pay attention to him but still keep an eye on him... Making sure he didn't accidentally get himself killed over there... But almost getting myself killed while watching him.

Chap 50 Third person pov Hadia was standing in her room praying for the happiness of her family. She was hoping that her planning gets well. Her plan was something someone has never thought. It was something extraordinary. Yes, the game is going to have a crucial fling. ...............

I was disappointed in myself for knowing nothing, yet I pretended I did. “You see,” Lawrence uttered as he sat up and met my gaze. “There are things that seem pointless if you look at it from your own point of view. It doesn’t mean you see this and hear this, then you know everything. That’s the main reason why there are many two types of POVs in the story. First-person POV, and Third-Person POV.” He gave me a satisfied smile as he leaned closer.

Third Person Pov Henrietta paced restlessly in her opulent room, her anger smoldering like a hidden flame. The realization that Nicholas, the stepson she had tried so hard to eliminate, had returned from the dead, killed her lifelong partner, and now held her captive, gnawed at her insides. It was inconceivable, a twisted nightmare that had somehow materialized into reality. She glanced around her luxurious surroundings, a stark contrast to the bitterness that seethed within her. The walls seemed to close in, suffocating her, as the weight of her actions bore down upon her, leaving her in total disbelief.

 Note: during the investigation and the night of the murder are all flashforwards while the story takes the normal penultimate format that'll eventually lead to the crime. And it has the povs of the four girls because i felt the need to each get an insight into their lives, from their perspective. Meanwhile, there is an occasional narrator that is ultimately revealed at the end... After all, this is all a story- **** 01 Flowers everywhere, a bunch of sad, long faces winging the lingering eerie of death...

And any resemblance to actual persons, [living or dead], business establishments, events or local are purely coincidental and unintentional. ***** POINT OF VIEWS - POVs. This book is written in dual point of view. That said, not every chapter will alternate perspectives.
