The secrets between us
I let out a startled cry, and snarl, as the heavenly metal stings the skin of my neck.
He's fucking branding me! I think angrily, slamming my elbow into his side. He grunts, and his hold loosens, and I do it again but at his other side.
Breathless, he lets go, trying to grab an arrow, but I end reaches out, and I grab him by his neck, squeezing.
"Fear." I say, and he thrashes to get out of my hold.
Without another word, my sword plunges through his stomach, actually ripping off one of his wings. He screams, as his body turns not to salt, but to ash, the substance falling and landing on some of the angels that are fighting below us.
