she declared. “Is this like the gladiators? A fight to the death?” “I’m serious. I’m reducing my shoes and clothes by 50 percent. So I can find things. So I won’t be so overwhelmed.” I nodded, studying her long, lean legs. The left ended in a red wedge pump. The right ended in a bright yellow, four-inch heel. “They’re both highly impractical,” I said. She harrumphed but then laughed and added, “OK, I can see that.”

My curiosity got the best of me, and I couldn't resist joining in. "What's going on?" David sighed as the instructor turned to me and held up the pair of shoes. They were elegant heels with straps that would wrap around my ankles. "These are for you," she explained, her tone softening as she addressed me. "We're going to start learning the Moon Tango today, and these will give you the right amount of lift and stability." I winced at the heels, eyeing the height of the heel. "I... I've never..." "It's the perfect time to try!"

As he strutted forward, he was leaving trails of bloody footprints while his twelve flying swords gloated around him, humming in the air. Each sword was humming excitedly from shedding blood, and yet, each edge remained unblemished. Just seeing that sight sent countless backing off in fear before turning and scrambling just like a herd of animals. Still, there were still stubborn ones who stood in Caleb's way!

The pièce de résistance, however, were the heels. She was normally a flip-flop kind of girl and wouldn’t be caught dead in a pair of heels. But she was feeling brave and a little sassy and so, on her way home from lunch, she’d stopped and bought a pair of spiked, blingy heels that she had to admit looked damn good on her. She just hoped like hell she didn’t make an ass of herself by face-planting when she tried to walk in them.

“I think he likes them too. They’d be a good contrast. And a hint of your personality too.” She puts the pairs she’d found back then grabs the boots. They’re knee-high and made from lace with a ribbon on the outside of the leg, the inside has a zip. The shoes at the bottom are a more traditional pointed toe heeled shoe with a wide block heel that offers a bit more stability than a stiletto. The heels are three and a half inches tall. Her feet would be uncomfortable, but she’d manage for Kai’s reaction to the idea of her in them.

He said coldly, "Wilbur, welcome to the Domain of the Holy Sword. Let me give you a welcome gift!" Kearson waved the light sword in his hand. Suddenly, on the ground, huge swords of light pierced out, rapidly spreading toward Wilbur. Wilbur immediately started to dodge them, but no matter how he dodged, light swords would continue to emerge from the ground, chasing after him relentlessly.

But all the things she had worn were discarded by Alpha Knight. She pouted angrily and walked into his closet. She opened his glass wardrobe which contained tons of shoes and began to find something unisex. Too bad, all the shoes were huge and not fit for the dress. But fortunately, she found a pair of black, small sandals with just two wide straps. One in front, the other behind to hold down the heel. It was perfect.

But she quickly regained her composure, her hand instinctively reaching for the sword she had concealed beneath her cloak. As the wolf lunged at her, Sheila drew her sword, its blade glinting in the dim light of the garage. She assumed a defensive stance, her feet shoulder-width apart, her sword held at the ready. The wolf attacked, its jaws wide open, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth. Sheila dodged the wolf's attack with ease, her movements swift and agile. She counterattacked, her sword flashing in the light as she struck the wolf's side. The blade bit deep, but the wolf barely flinched, its eyes fixed on Sheila with a deadly intent.

Zoey didn't think that this was what they would be doing the next time she saw him on one knee. "What about the shoes? These aren't appropriate for this death trap any time of the year." "Just couldn't help myself, I guess," he said, slipping the first stiletto off. "You wear the hell out of a pair of black heels."
