Mafia's Wrong girl

Mafia's Wrong girl

He was on his feet, moving farther from me. “It's glaring at you, and you can't see it, Isabella. That means you're not meant to bake, so don't try it next time.” “How—how do you mean?” He went on. “The oven should be turned on before the tray of your dough is kept in it. It's meant to be turned on for half an hour or maybe less. But from the look of things, you put the tray in the oven without turning it on for a while. The oven did not have any form of heat before you put your tray in—and that's why we have this—”

Fighting Hearts

Fighting Hearts

Even surrender. She closed the tablet's case with a sigh and made her way to the kitchen. At the end of the hallway, a narrow door opened into a modern, minimal space: stainless steel, black countertops, glass shelves, and a large fridge stocked with ingredients arranged in near-military order. Marcus had done a thorough job—this kitchen wasn't meant for grilled cheese. This was a fuel lab. Sloane tied her hair back to keep it from falling in her face and got to work without hesitation. Her movements showed this wasn't the first time she'd cooked for a professional athlete.

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

The casserole dish was ceramic, homemade by the look of it, still warm. The expression was identical to every expression that had come before it. "I'm so sorry to drop in," Olivia said. "I've been thinking about Ethan constantly. I just wanted to bring something. I didn't want to intrude, I only thought..." Behind Sophia, in the hallway, she heard Adrian's footsteps stop.

great start..concise with nuances. hope it would end the same way. not tooo many chapters that the main characters became watered down with so many side stories. i'm reading along slowly... so that i don't have to wait for updates. keep up the good work, dear author!

I want be clear when I say that I really like the story. It is engaging & draws you in, keeping you needing more. But if I never read the words "specific" or "particular" again, it will be too soon. About 60% of the sentences where they appear can be read without them & carry the same impact.

Billionaire secret Baby

Billionaire secret Baby

Elias was unwrapping a gleaming, multi-function, professional-grade oven—a machine designed for a Michelin-starred restaurant, not a cottage. “I’ve had this rushed in,” Elias announced, standing back proudly. “Harold is a food snob. We need to serve a meal that is impeccable, and your current convection oven is… vintage.” Vivian stared at the behemoth. Her perfectly functional oven had a minor squeak, yes, but it worked. “Elias, I’m cooking the dinner. I can’t even lift that thing, let alone figure out the programming. And where is it going to go? We’d have to demolish the counter.”

The Alpha and his Awaited Mate

The Alpha and his Awaited Mate

Look at the holy grail” I gasp, my eyes locking onto the kitchen. I abandon my boxes right in the middle of the hallway and practically sprint over to the kitchen island. I slide on my socks across the polished floor, landing on my knees right in front of the stainless-steel appliance like a medieval knight paying homage to his king. ”An actual oven” I breathe reverently, gently stroking the glass door of the appliance. ”Look at it, Julie. It has four burners. A digital timer. A broiler setting. We are no longer cavemen heating up pizza pockets in a spinning glass microwave box. We are civilized, culinary elites.” I declare.

Forced Marriage To The Bilionaire Chef

Forced Marriage To The Bilionaire Chef

She finishes up with the delicate fish she has in her cast iron pan and moves to put the pan in the oven for a quick grill. As Ally opens the oven her eye catches a spark to the one side. She bends down a little further to see what happened. The spark was so tiny that she wonders if she saw it at all. There is nothing wrong with the oven and Ally slides the pan onto the oven shelf. As she retrieves her hand from the oven, there is a quick succession of sparks in the same place Ally saw it before. She smells a sharp smell of burnt plastic before she gives a sharp yell and slams the oven door shut.

peek through her silver locks to see who had entered. A middle-aged woman dressed in a prim and proper maid uniform stood at the door. The woman was gazing at her, her face filled with a mix of pity and intrigue. On her hand was a platter of what looked and smelled like food. Sylvia slightly relaxed, her eyes still holding a fair bit of anxiety. Her stomach, however, unequivocally groaned and grumbled in hunger. "Would you like to eat something dear?" The middle-aged woman finally opened her mouth and spoke. Clearly, she had also heard the embarrassing cry of help from her stomach. Sylvia hesitantly nodded. She didn't know what exactly was awaiting her in the near future, but right now, a p

'' Sylvia smiled. She needed to draw her attention away from the fact that she had practically been shaking ever since she heard what Remus said. ''Oh... that's very nice ma'am and it smells so nice.'' She added. She walked towards the oven, watching it rise from the glass. It turned out so perfectly and deep down, she was quite glad that at least there was a luna who could bake. Just then, Sylvia had the craziest idea. She didn't know if it was worth it but there was nothing like trying. After all, there was no harm in trying and nothing could possibly go wrong.

Rick's Dilemma

Rick's Dilemma

So the larger oven was going to be a perfect fit. Many of Matthew's friends that were cooks and chefs were very envious of his position at Ting Gap. None of them had such kind and generous employers. They were expected to make do with what was already in the kitchens they worked in. But Matthew had only to mention some new gadget or appliance that he needed/wanted, and it would appear. But to Matthew's credit, he did not take advantage of his employer's good nature. For instance, this oven would be for their benefit as well. It would allow Matthew to devise new dishes to keep things interesting for the family that he served. That made him content.

The Missing Daughter of House Lundren Returns as a Regressor

The Missing Daughter of House Lundren Returns as a Regressor

“Live and wait, you bastard. I’ll be a thorn in your existence as I sharpen my sword, waiting for the day you meet your death in my hands.” Sylvia opened the box she used as a bed. Inside were a few of her possessions, such as a small pouch. She stuffed the pocket watch inside, buried it under her spare dress, then secured the box shut. She took a basket with its bottom gone and placed it on top. It was to let Shote know that it was her bed. ‘It’s a long way off, my revenge,’ she thought. Beside the box, Sylvia found a couple of beaten-up buckets with pieces of rags hung on their rims and a pair of worn-out leather boots.
