~THE LYCAN ENFORCER ~ ~Annabeth's POV~ "If this art isn't finished by dawn, my Uncle will have both our heads." Tommy’s voice was shaking so hard the paintbrushes in his hand rattled like dry bones. I sat up on my thin mattress, looking hard at the blank canvas in front of us. "A Lycan Enforcer doesn't care about art, Tommy," I said, trying to steady my own breathing. "He cares about power and control."

The place smelled like metal, sweat, and old wood, the familiar sound of gloves hitting the punching bag echoing through the room. Mar was the first to notice him. “Well look who’s finally back from the dead.” Porto turned around immediately. “You’re discharged already? I thought you’d be stuck in that hospital for another week.” “I got bored,” Lance said, walking further into the room. Mar tossed him a water bottle. “So you decided to come back here where people actually try to kill you instead. Smart.” Lance smirked slightly and caught the bottle with his left hand. As he lifted it, his sleeve pulled back a little, revealing part of the snake tattoo.

A blue furry blur spun around at the same time and, a split second later, the Beta’s yell resounded in the sound proof-room. “TAAAIIIIITANNNN!!!!!” An injection fell out of the royal lycan’s mouth and his tongue rolled out happily, panting. Giving a contented hum, he trotted back towards the medicine kit and nosed his way into it. He came out with another syringe triumphantly and Zane’s eyes widened in fear. “Titan no! Not another one!! Why would you do that?” Zane screamed. “Your ass was right there under my nose,” the lycan shrugged. “Seemed like a good idea.”

“I don’t like this.” Firing again, I just couldn’t shake the feeling we were missing something. “They don’t want us showing up tomorrow.” I growled as I fired again. We were holding our own with Brett and I as backups. “LUNA!” One guy came running back. “50ish rogues approaching from behind us!” “FUCK!” Cade screamed, and I could hear the engine roar. “We have a grenade launcher?” He said, looking unsure. “Where? Go get it.” I demanded. He took off in a sprint.

"Mission... parameters... absolute," the Titan said.

"Target: The Hackers," The Titan’s synthesized voice boomed. "No!" Aurora threw a telekinetic shield up, but the Titan’s mass was too great. It smashed through her shield with a casual backhand, sending Aurora flying into a server rack. "Aurora!" Kael screamed. He charged the Titan, risking his life to jam his electrified baton into its knee joint.
