Maryn stared at the fox and muttered, "It indeed has a striking coat of fur that is marbled with white, black and blue. Its Amber eyes are glowing so beautifully, it has a really eye-catching appearance. It's a rare fox that looks so cute... I thought it was a husky but..." "Ember, don't panic." Hearing Adolf talk so loudly, Maryn was pulled out of her imagination. She skipped a glance at the scared fox and then back to Adolf.

Feral’s now elongated ears trembled nervously in a way that could soften even an angel’s heart and he smiled a bit shyly. Thankfully, although people couldn’t help staring at him what they actually had their eyes on was the beast on his neck. On the slender neck stood a graceful-looking fox with a stunning pair of eyes holding a blue sclera and sharp red pupils that emitted such pressure that could make one’s hair stand and even more astonishing was the glowing seven tails which stood majestically behind his back leisurely swaggering in the air while others caringly caressed the elf.

To which Pawn Clara shook her head in the negative. "Kitsune are the Nine-tailed foxes," Bishop Eloise explained. "The nine tails signify nine points of power. One tail is a person's spiritual energy whereas the other tail is their physical strength. When the tenth tail is added, they become a spirit fox. Then it's called Spirit Fox." "Spirit Fox! That's awesome!" Pawn Clara exclaimed. Bishop Eloise told her to take him to the other side of the castle where he could smell Rook Theia. It was easy to spot a vampire among so many foxes.

Little shrills came from the white-coated animal. For being outdoors and not a pet, its fur was ridiculously white with a hint of blue hue. The face was small and pointed, the tail big and feathery, reminding me of a fox or raccoon. Fluffy brought it to Creed, his tail wagging like a dog instead of its saunter wagging like a cat.

This odd power up cleared the smoke and I finally got to see the result of my attack. “Holy shit… No way…” Kane was one hundred percent right. Nine tailed foxes can use all elements of the other tribes. “Whoa!! Look at me!! I’m hot stuff now!! Wow this feels good! Whoooo!” As she took the time to shout and praise herself, my mouth was hung open in disbelief. Her purple shiny fur was now a fiery orange and white. Her fur moved and danced like flames as her nine tails swayed on their own, like fire licking the air for oxygen. My attack didn’t even leave a mark, not to mention giving her new powers to use. She continued to admire her new look for a moment or two.

Terrified, Scarlet barked to her sisters, "Both of you! Into the safe room now!" Four white, bushy tails sprouted at her back. "Wow," Chu Xun blurted, "A nine-tailed silver-backed fox." A crimson shroud of light enveloped around Scarlet and the sheer intensity of her burgeoning aura thrashed and pitched violently like a storm. Swoosh! Swoosh! She swung all four of her tails at Chu Xun, and they lanced at him like spears. Chu Xun fired four bolts in rapid succession; the energy bolts pummeled at the tails, forcing Scarlet away as the pulses of force from the impacts obliterated the furniture into scraps of wood.

The shadows of the beasts twisted and flickered under the glow, giving the space an unsettling tension. "Look at that." Landon stopped and pointed to a carving on the left wall. Aria looked over and saw a beast that resembled a fox, but with nine tails. Each tail was marked with colorful patterns. A single horn rose from its forehead, and its eyes were gentle yet alert. Landon remarked, "It's similar to a nine-tailed fox, but different." Aria nodded. "Nine-tailed foxes have pure, unmarked tails and no horns. This one looks strange."

Stanley and Yaksha couldn’t help but squint. They followed the light and saw a white fox tail on the ground not far away from them. It was covered in blood and looked like it had just fallen off. Yaksha seemed even more shocked as he quickly took a few steps back. “That must be the demon fox’s tail. Nine-tailed foxes have nine lives. Each time they die, they’d lose a single tail. It means that it had already died once.” With that, Yaksha looked at Stanley in excitement. “This means that somebody saved the children! No, to be more accurate, it might be another demon or a god.
