Troy had kicked off his covers as usual, and I pulled them back up, pressing a kiss to his forehead. In our bedroom, I could still hear the shower running. I hesitated, then made a decision. I stripped off my clothes and opened the bathroom door. The room was thick with steam, and through the glass shower door, I could see Xenois's silhouette—head bowed, hands braced against the tile wall, water streaming over him. His shoulders were shaking slightly. I opened the shower door and stepped in behind him. He startled, turning to look at me with red-rimmed eyes that suggested he'd been crying.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as her makeup looked smeared on her flushed face. “Well, now don’t you look rode hard and put up wet,” Daisy noted. “AHHH…NO!” A scream floated down to the foyer from the upper floors. Victoria froze. Then another yell of SLUT! Followed it. Daisy froze. Recognizing the voices, they both made their swift way to the stairs. Following the yelling, they climbed the stairs and raced to the end of the hall.

Then, the air seemed to distort. Felix, with traces of blood already seeping from the corners of his mouth, activated the Speed Talisman, retreating while deploying the most powerful move he could currently use from the Dragons Destroyer.

Ty chuckled at his adorably beautiful daughter and kissed her on the forehead before going to his mate’s office. “Ok Dad !” Xel chirped and jumped out of the library window to secretly dance like her Dy along the rocky beach. As soon as the stealthy teenager’s feet touched the ground, she noticed frequent rings of smoke disappear in circles round the corner. Who’s out there puffing a cig so heavily, Xel thought and crept slowly round the corner only to bump into a shocked Jax ! “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ?” they both asked at the same time.

Xandar’s eyes never left her when he picked up her clothes before pecking a kiss on her furry forehead as he muttered into her ear, “Beautiful.” Lucianne’s lycan cooed at his affectionate compliment and loving stare. His animal made him nuzzle her nose to elicit her human’s soft chuckles through their link. After they were both satisfied with Lucianne’s melodious laughter, Xandar took her hand and led her out of her changing spot. When everyone saw her tail glowing, mouths gaped and eyes snapped wide open for the second time that day.

Xander exclaimed and hugged me tightly. "Why are you crying?" I asked, confused. "You… You're annoying." He said tearfully. "What did I do now?" I chuckled. "Audrey? Xander? Are you okay?" I heard someone call and when I looked behind Xander I saw Lis and Tille looking for us. "I'm okay." I replied. I sat down and removed myself from Xander's embrace. "What happened?" I asked, confused. "You told us to retreat then suddenly we heard a landslide. Professor Xander panicked when he heard you were still here fighting the dragon." Lis explained when they reached us.

Echo asked while his eyes sparkled. Xandra killed the goblin that attacked her and smirked, “Of course, who could forget a crybaby like you? The one who wouldn’t let my sister go.” Echo’s eyes widened and reacted. “Huh??!! I’m not a crybaby!” Echo pouted and swung his gigantic sword to split the monster in half.

Her scales glowed as she worked her magic on the spirit turtle and she knew instantly that this would be easy for her. Before Xavier's astonished eyes, the beast moved its huge body slowly, coming awake. The song drifted telepathically towards its ears as it opened its eyes;great yellow liquid eyes that blinked slowly. The eyes zeroed in on Melody who was singing and it began to lift its huge form. Its yellow eyes turned silver as Melody hypnotized it and it raised one massive feet forward. Xavier was about to move out towards her when he remembered Melody's instruction. He had to remain hidden.

Baby, baby, how sinful I am. We cried together in two versions. I shed silent tears and Xander soaked my shirt with violent sobs, as if an invisible hand was beating him. My hands, which were originally weak at my sides, moved slowly, up his back, grabbed him tightly and gently patted Xander's broad back. Slowly we stopped crying and he lifted his face from the crook of my neck and looked at me with eyes glistening with remaining tears. Xander's hand moved to stroke the line of the surgical scar under my stomach, gently and carefully.

“Try harder! Any potion to weaken the curse! Any spell to undo it!” They shook their heads. “It's beyond our capacity, Luna.... We're so sorry....” Tears flowed freely from my eyes. A stab of pain pierced my chest, spreading throughout my body. I couldn't do anything but freeze. Xavier placed me in his arms. I cried silently. Only the sound of the girls' sobs filled the air. “Hey.” “Papa!” “Why are you crying?” Xander asked in a thin voice, his hand trembling as he reached for Jasmine's cheek. “Are you alright?”
