All of a sudden, I had an epiphany—these people were turning a blind eye to the evidence I showed because they wanted to suck up to Horace.
I turned to look at him, before asking again, "Do you think that my admission should be retracted, too?"
Horace's gaze flickered between me and the medical report, before it settled on Vivian.
"Do you want to go to Paris?"
Vivian nodded lightly. "That's my dream, Horace."
"Alright."
Their voices were low, and none of the surrounding onlookers heard it within all the ruckus, but I did.
And my heart sank.
