Novel & Cerita Tales From The Crypt: The Secret

“First of all I know that this is fatal, I can’t possibly reveal it to the Barnet family members. You know Mrs. Barnet has a heart disease. Knowing Miller’s dying condition, especially that her beloved son is an opium addict, a drunkard and a womanizer. Do you think this is a good thing?” “Then, can you make Mr. Barnet come back in a short time? Isn’t that impossible, Miss?” Maria swallowed hard and then nodded her head perfectly. “I have a secret residence in the middle of the forest near Berlin, and until now it can be said to be safe. I have acquaintances who are the best neurologists and surgeons in the country. By giving them a little money and a request, I am sure that they will keep q

He felt resistance. Then— Click. The last tumbler gave way. He froze. Listened. No footsteps in the hall. No voices. Good. Slowly, Tales gripped the handle. The door creaked as he turned it— Once. Twice. Then— It opened. A faint rush of humid air greeted him from the dark hallway beyond. Tales slipped through, silent as a shadow. He closed the door behind him with care, locking it again from the inside. They wouldn’t know he was gone.

He raised his voice and I so badly wanted to give him that, to make him trust me, but there was nothing. I took a hesitant step closer, cautiously drawn in by his seemingly trusting demeanor. His voice dropped to a low, almost conspiratorial whisper as he leaned toward me. "I'll tell you a secret," he murmured, his tone filled with a deceptive vulnerability. "This place holds more horrors than you can imagine. Dark secrets lie within these walls, secrets that could tear your world apart."

“I’ve worked for you long enough to read the pauses.” Naomi smirked. “Maybe you should be the one making the closing arguments.” Sandra tilted her head with a knowing grin. “Isn’t that what you’re already doing? Piece by piece… Secrets Unfold, right?” Naomi blinked. “You remember the name?” “Hard to forget when it’s what you’re living.” Naomi picked up a glass and stared into it like it held some kind of answer. Secrets Unfold. Yes. That’s exactly what today felt like. A day where hidden feelings peeked through smiles, where silence told louder truths than words.

SSHS 197 The familiar clunk coming from the glass tube of cryptex can be heard throughout the room. Hestia and Albert looked at each other at the resonance of the sound. A signal that the crypotex has been solved and the message can now be accessed. Hestia carefully extracted the piece of paper inside the glass tube cryptex and put the cryptex down the desk of Albert. With bated breaths, Albert waited for Hestia to read what was written at the piece of paper out loud. “What is in it?” Albert lost his patience and asked his spy partner. But instead of reading what was written, Hestia simply showed him the paper.

No hello no greeting or hug of any type. I only had one question for her. "Who is Adaline?" I growled. She looked so surprised. Her face broke and she started crying. She had this whole sob story of how Stephanie became pregnant after our night together in the cabin. They kept it hidden from me because they thought I deserved better. The night Stephanie was having our daughter? My parents told me she was probably cheating on me and that's why I was in pain. I had heard rumors while I was in school about her being with basically the entire pack after I left, and I believed some. I was so hurt and I blindly believed my parents.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "Wait for me, Mr. Caleb Craige, because I'm going to unravel your secrets. Your secrets that are key for my success."

The secretarial desk was empty, and all was quiet, save for the soft humming of the desktop computer. Weird… the receptionist told me that Mr. Silverman was waiting for me up here, Rebecca thought. Perhaps he’s waiting for me in his office? She walked cautiously to the massive wood door and knocked. “Hello? Mr. Silverman? It’s Rebecca Grey from TNN. Can I come in?” There was no answer, and her imagination began to run wild. Did the murderer make his way up here and take the lives of both Mr. Silverman and his secretary? Were they tied up, being held as hostages behind the door?

It sounds like two hungry animals are fighting for dominance. Cautiously, I took two slow steps towards that noise and witnessed that Rakesh and Emiem were kissing, hungrily. I don't know whether to be happy nor sad. Why him? Of all people why him? How the hell he got that syringe? Not wanting to reveal myself there, I turned my back and headed back to my cabin. The only source I have with mine is "The Hidden Secrets" and I have read it many times but couldn't able to find any new things as some of the words on pages 14 and 15 were a blur as someone caused this purposely.

"Some of the Elders have been meeting in secret. Late at night, in the old crypts. They're planning something." My blood ran cold. "How do you know?" "Because I've been following them." She led me further into the passage, her voice barely audible. "There's a hidden room in the crypts—behind the tomb of the first Ashbourne Alpha. They've been using it for weeks. I don't know what they're planning, but it's not good." "Can you take me there?" "Now?" She hesitated. "It's dangerous. If they catch us—"
