The city never slept, and neither did her heartbeat. Ari weaved through the crowded streets, heels clacking against cracked pavement, neon signs reflecting off puddles like broken mirrors. The air smelled of fried food, gasoline, and something else—something electric, almost alive. She pulled her hoodie tighter around her, trying to disappear into the shadows, but she never quite could. Not when the city hummed with life, not when danger lurked just out of sight, and certainly not when he was near.

Don Rafael probed. "Yes, Dad. Liam and I are thinking about marriage, but we don't have concrete plans yet. And my second reason why I cane back home is my script has been chosen by a famous television company back in Australia, and it's owned by Liam's family. They will turn my novel into a late-night drama series that will run for 3 months! All of the shooting locations are in Walnut Creek. The cast and crew will be flying here next week!” Serena announced, as her eyes sparkled with excitement. "I'm so happy and proud of your achievements, Serena." the old man stated.

It was influenced by Main City, but there were some lines they didn't cross like Main City then. Though Main City is thriving and growing, there still is an area, where the technology hasn't quite reached it. The streets from Woodware, and Sinch are still mostly olden times, no tracers, no check ins required. Caia looks nervous though, at the sight of them. I know she'd rather be running home, but the Main City's buildings are hidden in the center of the place. Nova tries many times to make small conversation to fill in the silence, but Zomb wanders off to make sure we're not followed, and Caia is tight lipped. I don't have the energy myself to be honest, exhaustion making me a walking zombi

The information she gleaned from the books perplexed her, but it didn't her all the answers she needs. She remembered the plane exploding, being sucked in by a vacuum-like force, and sliding off in a gut-like tunnel. She didn't see anything like it up on the hill. 'What could have swallowed her and dumped her like shit? 'Ugh,' she felt grossed out thinking of it.

Tia looked at him and smiled. "You know," she said as the waiter went away, "I hate people who are not polite with the waiters or drivers. It is nice to see that you thanked him.” Kabir’s discomfort in his half-wet clothes was growing. He shifted uneasily on his chair, but Tia’s company made up for all the discomfort. At her comment, he smiled from ear to ear and shrugged, as if it didn’t mean much. She started telling him about her job in the publishing company, and how she wanted to become an author and write mystery novels.

As you’ll find out later in the story, it didn’t turn out to be the case. Josh and I head out into the city. I go to the Uni of Manchester, I felt let down when Josh took us to Canal Street. If anyone is reading this from outside the UK, Canal street is a “gay village” in Manchester, with loads of gay bars. He took us in, and I knew that there was still a lot of fit straight girls that went to gay bars, so I kept that as my sole purpose. I found a good looking girl sat at the bar. I’m quite an attractive, athletic guy so I’ve always been very confident around girls. I got chatting to her as soon as I could. I still wanted to get with her to try to convince myself that I was straight.

He knew if she said NO then he’d be upset because she was the second woman after my mom to whom he personally approached and requested to enter his life. And secondly he knew her denial would hurt his ego and would make him very angry. Katherine asked, cutting the silence in half. As a child, the only thing that would bring Katherine comfort was storytelling and as she grew up she became more intrigued by novels and the writings of experts. To Katherine, stories were a kind of safe place where her imagination could run as wild and as free as it pleases. Lucian leaned forward and Katherine began to adjust where she was seated until she was face to face with him. The fire that was still burning cast a shadow on half of his face but his red eyes continued to glow dark but vibrant.

"Mister, you are far from home, aren't you?" The young man's eyes rotates toward my direction, "W-What do you mean?" Don't tell me.. he read my book and transmigrated into it too?
