“You all are fuck*ing morons!” They were coming outside the classroom, when they heard someone clearing his throat. A guy with broad shoulders was standing there trying to grasp their attention. His icy blue eyes were soft while looking at them. They all immediately stopped talking and gave him a once over. “Hi there.” He nodded looking at them. Clara and Poppi were looking at him dreamily when he smiled. Oh, man! His smile was contagious. “Yes?” Jackson frowned a little. “I am Tom, just got transferred and today is my first day. Can anyone of you show me around?”

It was a whole lot to take in. “Yes Captain.” I nodded and we walked out. Tom? What's Tom like? That's such a corny name. Tom was absolutely not my mate in anything. He was bigger, a bit handsome but not my time, and he definitely had those muscles. Yes, he's also incredibly tall. He was a racer? He better not beat my ass or that bastard would finally get rid of me. Damn. He was trying to make small talk but I was already so pissed by the fact that it was an off day, so I was so mean unintentionally. He got the message and stopped talking.

He had shorts on, an old television was hanging on the wall, next to it was guitar and a speaker with one of its loop broken. "Can't stay man, gat some serious business to deal with" Tom said as he picked the pack of cigarette that was lying in the table, Jim pulled out a lighter, lighted Tom's stick and fired one for himself. He blew his in balls and circles, he loved to play with his smoke. "Keep this somewhere safe" Tom flashed the dagger at him, as he looked round the room. "You going to the Feds mate?" "Nope,just some simple business, its simple man, trust me" Tom said amidst a mouthful of smoke.

I pulled him away from Caleb, who stood slowly, his eyes never leaving Tom's face. "It was nice to meet you," Caleb said to Tom, his voice barely above a whisper. "Maybe we can talk about penguins again sometime." "Okay!" Tom waved enthusiastically as I dragged him toward the exit. "Bye, mister!" Maya fell into step beside us, carrying our bags and shooting me worried looks. Tom chattered about penguins the whole way to the car, completely oblivious to the fact that he'd just had his first real conversation with his father. Once we were in the car and Tom was buckled in with his headphones on watching a movie, Maya turned to me with serious eyes.

“I don't want to talk about it.” Well, you better talk about it. Cause I want to know what's stuck up your arse you'd use that amount of pressure on your subject.” Tom huffed, marching towards me, before plopping down on the seat closest to me. Unwilling to talk about it, I kept my lips shut, but Tom was persistent and I knew he wouldn't rest until he got to the bottom of things. Without thinking I blurted the first thing that came to mind, “ Are there any job openings? Preferably in an administration far away from architecture.”

Big tom interjects abruptly, leaving me questioning and replaying every of his words. Don Joe must have found out by now that I was the culprit and if he hasn't it won't be long, especially with the coming marriage. Maybe that's what I really need, a stronger force to face whatever enemy ahead. Another car pulls over beside me. All cars forming a sort of circle around the Big Tom. “He’s one of my best men,” Big Tom brags as he shakes hand with a man, who steps out of the car. Average height. Jack asked him and Tom smirked as he put his hand on Jack's shoulder. "You should stay out of my business." Tom warned him. Jack slapped his hand away. "Buddy don't touch me without my permission or we might have problems." Jack told Tom who burst out laughing. "I don't want to talk to someone as crazy as you." Tom said before walking off. I was withering in pain as I held onto my aching back. Jack glanced back at me then clicked his tongue as I was only paying attention to the lock of my hair now in my hand.

The man he met inside looked to be in his late thirties, he smiled and welcomed him inside, "Mr. Boron, I have been expecting you." "You have been expecting me? Why?" "Em, we have an appointment by nine and it's nine, so I have been expecting you." "Oh" was the sound Kane made as he sat down. He can't believe he was sitting inside a therapist office. "So, should we start by discussing less sensitive topics while you relax your mind?" "Em, anything is good." "Okay then, it's a lovely weather today, don't you think?" Tom asked. I was silent. “Why the fuck did you talk with Chris!" Tom yelled, his voice dripping with disdain. "And what are you discussing with him?" I flinched at the venom in his tone. "I was just talking to him, because he came to say hello," I said, my voice barely audible. "It's not a big deal." Tom snorted. "Nothing about you is a big deal," he snapped, his words like knives. "You're just a useless waste of space. I can't believe my father wasted his time on you guys."
