Tom appeared at the door, smiling as if the dozen men outside posed no threat to him. Brandon stared at him blankly. "Mr. Genge, please hand over my girlfriend, or I'll have to force my way in." "Don't worry, Mr. Sumner. Valarie is fine—she just got a little drunk. I'll send her back tomorrow morning," Tom replied smoothly. Brandon scoffed. The scandal from five years ago, when Tom was caught cheating on Valarie, was still a popular topic of gossip. It was hard to believe he had the audacity to show his face again.

The red dots painted targets across all our chests. Three laser sights centered on me. I watched them dance across my heart like deadly stars, and all I could think was how stupid I had been. Tommy stood over three bodies—men I knew, men who had protected me growing up—with a gun in his hand and pride on his face. "Tommy," I said, surprised my voice stayed steady. "What did you do?" "What I had to do, Miss Eva." He gestured at the corpses with his gun. "They figured out I was working with the Sinaloa Cartel. Started asking questions. So I gave them answers." He smiled. "Permanent ones."

He took a slow step toward Angela, putting her in a passive position. Angela stepped back, temporarily falling to the ground because of stumbling. "Wow, be a little careful." Nolan Patrick deliberately displayed concern, smiling and extending his hand to Angela. Angela stammered and shouted: "You guys don't go away quickly, I'll scream for everyone to see." Of course, Nolan Patrick pulled out a sharp knife from his pocket. He plugged hard to the ground, right next to Angela. Nolan Patrick's eyes were flushed red, gleaming with thousands of evil rays.

Eva, without a second thought, immediately pushed Tommy to leave. "You're breaking the mood. Go away from here." Tommy blocked Eva's kick as she shooed him away. But he had been feeling strange about the dog, and for some reason, he felt something was wrong. From the look in his sharp eyes, it's also not like a dog in general. Tommy turned his gaze to Iris. He saw that his partner looked sarcastically at him. "I didn't mean to say that." Iris turned her face the other way while snorting harshly.

She looks dull. "Maybe, but I think she just looks that way cause of Tom and his mouth." David chuckled the others followed. "Ok." Tom got up. "I'm tired of this. I'm leaving." "Nice going today dude. While your walking, there are girls talking. Try not to shut em by raping their mouths." "David!" Tate shot. "Rape is a serious thing. Don't say stuff like that." "Yeah. You're right. My bad, but still though."

“You should see your face, Damian! You look so funny when you’re jealous.” Someone stood in front of their table, ruining all the mood. All of them frowned after seeing the tall guy staring at them. “What are you doing here?” Tom asked coldly. “I wanna talk,” Nate said, without looking at the others. “But I don't want to.” Tom raised an eyebrow. “Just stand up, and let's go somewhere quiet.” Nate insisted. “He said he doesn't wanna talk,” Avery muttered, clenching her fists. “You shut up, bipolar bitch.”

Without any further contemplation, I walked out of the marquee, unable to muster enough motions or strength to even run, or tears to spill from my soulless eyes for that matter. The indestructible power of evil had been shown to me for the very first time, and the innocent soul of Madam Maxima paid the price and perished torturously. My frozen mind bubbled one crucial thought as my legs forced their way of out of the place, that my dream of a life filled with peace and bliss, lay far from my reach…as I viewed myself stuck in the never-ending realm of evil….

Tom pressed the button for the lower floor. “If I talked to her like that, Sigrid would probably turn my balls inside out,” he commented, his eyes on the numbers above the door. “Or rip them out and feed them to me. I love that about her,” his lip curled viciously. “She doesn’t take any shit.” “Mhm,” Talen agreed. “I can’t wait to get away from here,” Tom added under his breath. “I just can’t wait.”

Maybe a little exercise would help you gain more muscles, if you really care about having them.” Just then, Tom walked in. He was surprised to find Damon talking to the stranger. He particularly didn't take to Tudd. “I don't like him,” he had complained to Damon. “He is too full of himself; he wouldn't even say a word to you until you do. He must really think we've got no value left in our tank.” “Hey, Tom,” Tudd said, as soon as he saw Tom walk in. “Damon, I need to talk to you,” Tom just said, ignoring Tudd, who had reached out his hand for a handshake.
