Talon began flicking through pages, his brows frowning as he did so, turning one page after the next. “Anything?” Zekan asked. “It’s mostly just old sketches of what hunters look like. But its hard to tell, it looks as though they wear some sort of cloaks”. “Can you see their faces, bodies? Anything that will give us a clue to what we’re dealing with?” Kyan asked as he watched Talon go through more pages. Talon shook his head, his eyes still peeled on the book…. “Wait!” He said as he suddenly stopped on a page. I could see there was a scribbled paragraph of some sort from where I was standing, but I couldn’t make out what it said.

Alfonso tried as much as possible to make sure his tone sounded neutral. They both shifted into their wolves. Talon was considered evil by Madelyn, but his wolf’s fur begged to differ. Talon’s fur was brown, with gray patches on it. His eyes were bloodshot red — Alpha eyes and when the moonlight reflected in them you could see the rings of gold around it.

Talon resembled a hungry wolf that hadn't eaten in a long time, finally finding his prey. He buried his head in my chest and panted greedily. The touch of his hands caused a warmth to spread through me, and I instinctively arched my back, gently biting my lip as a soft, dreamy moan escaped my throat. Talon released a loud, ragged breath and skillfully tore the fabric from my chest with his mouth.
