He hugged her, inhaling her hair, I knew it calmed him. Ok now was my chance! "We actually are fated mates. Destined by the moon goddess for one another." I stated proudly. Chills run down my spine, but I don't turn back because if I did, I would run like fucking hell. From the shadows, a tall man with short spiked black hair dressed in nothing more than a pair of black denim jeans hanging below his waistline and matching leather boots steps out with his back turned towards me. I cannot help but stare at the way the full moon dances against his grey skin. He tilts his nose up to the sky and sniffs the air. When he does, I catch sight of a tattoo trailing from the curve of his shoulder straight down his back. The tattoo seems realistic somehow, how the never-ending vines trail from a black rose and on the tips of the thorns, tiny crimson-red drops of blood trail

He looked back at her. “You want us to make a vow?” Ayaan queried. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d seen this before — in that red desert, under the three moons. The devil had knocked. And now she wanted in.

She could've had it all but she chose the path of destruction. I don't know if I'd ever be able to forget the love that swirled in her eyes for Henry. No matter how much she denied it but she was in love with Henry. And the same was the case with Henry. As he was dying all he could whisper was her name again and again. I didn't realize it until Jason came to my side and he pulled me into a tight hug because I was crying uncontrollably. I hugged him tightly while sobbing on his chest. Destiny scares me. It terrifies me. Knowing that Sofia and Henry could've had such a happy life but they ended like this. It was heart-wrenching and scary.
