Nicole’s POV The warm sunlight spilled through the shop windows, glinting off the neat stacks of invitations and decorations, but I could barely focus on the pretty arrangements. My mind was elsewhere, tangled in thoughts I didn’t want anyone to see. “Nicole, can you grab the ribbon over there?” Zara’s cheerful voice pulled me back to the present. I moved, picking up the spool and handing it to her, forcing a smile. “Here you go.” Zara paused, studying me for a moment. “You seem… distracted today. Something on your mind?”

The last thing I need right now is someone nagging me. I opened that door, and my hands clenched instinctively. Standing before me was none other than my nemesis. The urge to strangle her and free myself from this entanglement overwhelmed me, but again... self-control. The plans I have for her are definitely not good ones. Gwen's POV Sunday morning was pretty sunny. It was a vibrant morning and it radiated through to the girls' smiles all the time I brushed their hair and helped them into the dresses for the day. The girls clung to me seeming to have what to say at all times. "You look better this morning." Ricky handed me the sunflower he had gotten from who knows where. I stared at the flower and crunched my nose. "I'm not going to receive that." "I thought we were cool?"
