Chapter 1 Clara's POV "Why do I have to go with you to this party again" I asked for the 5th time. "Oh darling, I'm doing this for you!" Lydia groaned. "How?!" I exclaimed. MAD I read the action fantasy, mystery romance book Alessia gave me. I was only on chapter 3, and I was already hooked. As I read the heroine’s description, my mind went back to Tara. She was beautiful and seemed enigmatic, and I felt like she kept herself wrapped in a lot of secrets. I asked Alessia about her, but she told me nothing. Instead, she insisted that I should make an effort to get to know Tara. My meeting with Gabe Linden left me even more confused with a lot of unanswered questions.
