The band was divided between two tour busses, these ones slick and expensive looking inside and out, a sleek, glossy modern black with Two-Way Street emblazoned in yellow script on the outside. The band stopped and gawked as they got out of the taxis. Roadies wearing black t-shirts with Two Way Street in the signature spray-paint looking script on their backs and chests moved busily between the two sleek busses and the less glamourous support vehicles that would accommodate the tour’s support staff and equipment.

The bus looked even bigger up close. Its glossy black surface reflected the morning sun, and the words Hawthorne Luxury and Fashion Institute stretched boldly across the side. Just seeing the name again made my stomach flutter. A tall man stood beside the bus door with a tablet in his hand. One by one, he checked our names. “Helena Voss.” She nodded and stepped forward. “Sylvie Laurent.” Another nod. “Elowen Hart.” Then his eyes moved to us. “Isabella Soren.” “Here,” Isabella replied, stepping forward.

The luxury tour bus hummed along the M1 motorway, carrying the band north from London toward Manchester. Rain streaked the tinted windows as the city lights faded behind them. Inside, the bus was a rolling palace—plush leather seats, a full kitchenette, multiple sleeping bunks, and a private lounge at the back reserved for Kai. After the paparazzi leak, management had insisted on keeping a low profile. No private jets for this short hop. Just the road, the rain, and simmering tension.
