When I let go, Taborie bent down to hug her.
"Jesus, Janey, you're small."
"I'm working on it," she said, tucking her hair. "I'm sorry, I don't have anything to eat, I would have had something waiting—,"
"I can order some Thai," I suggested.
"Why because I look Asian?" Taborie asked. "Racist."
I laughed, hugging him again. We let him inside and I ordered us food while Jane and him caught up.
"I see Katie isn't with you, I'm starting to think that she doesn't exist," I said, plopping down beside Jane.
