Jake and I sat in front of the window with the cake. Yes, I made him do it, just like in sixteen candles. He was my Molly Ringwald, and I was his Jake Ryan. Never mind the fact that his name was Jake.
"This is stupid. I'm not a sixteen-year-old girl, and this isn't a corny 80s movie," Jake said irritably. "Why did I agree to this?"
"Shh...you are ruining the moment. Just blow out the candle and make a wish," I said. He did as he was told. What a good badboy he is. I like the compliant Jake. He was far cuter than the bully Jake.
