“You didn’t know?” Elena’s eyes widened. “You own… everything, don’t you?” Damon bent down to her face. His breath brushed her ear. “Not everything. Not yet.” Her friends whistled from the dance floor. “Go, Elena!” one of them yelled. She ignored them, heart racing. “I’m off the clock, Mr. Voss. You can’t boss me around here.” His grip tightened. “Call me Damon tonight.” His voice dropped even lower. “And I can do whatever the fuck I want in my own club.”

“Key is in Aldo and Damian's team. If Key is injured, then uncle will give you a gift. The land up ahead needs fertiliser!” Everyone laughed again, including Key who just chuckled while shaking his head. I turned my face away, slightly annoyed with Damian. Why did it have to be with Damian? If it was with Logan or the others it would have been better. “Hamdan, Evan and Joshua are on the same team. Then Oliver, Logan and Ben will be in the same team.
