Tears Of A Broken Omega
Kale noticed right away and gently set me down in a corner, pulling my hair back as I crouched, throwing up everything I had left.
When it was finally over, my entire body sagged forward like someone had yanked the life out of me. The moment I felt the cool air against my tear-streaked face, the dam inside me broke into ugly, heavy sobs.
“I can’t… I can’t do this anymore,” I cried. “My life’s a mess. What’s the point of living if I have to…”
“Hey, hey… don’t say that,” Kale cut in, his own voice breaking too. My wet hair was sticking to my face, and he brushed it aside with a tenderness that only made me cry harder. “Please… don’t ever say that.”
