He whispers out, like those two words were the hardest thing to ever say in his life. Shock overcomes my body as my head shoots up to look at him, my vision slightly blurry from the tears. We just stare at one another no words between the two of us. As he wipes my tears from my cheeks, Alessandro's palm rises up to cup my cheek, warmth soaking into the skin there. His steely eyes meet my green ones. Time appears to have stopped, leaving only Alessandro and myself.

Eventually, Morgan lies down headfirst on the floor as his dry and cracking lips open wide, chasing after his breath. 'Is my life from now on going to be like this?' Morgan's mind asks in agony. 'How long will I last? How many days do I have left to hold on with this miserable life of mine?' Morgan's eyelids shut in their own accord, which he hears Samantha's exultant laughter for him the moment darkness occupies his vision. His heart aches, and from the edges of his eyes, tears silently stream down on the floor. Morgan have yet to recover from weariness, but something else tortures him again, waking his bornout soul.
