Nahimasmasan si Enrico sa nagawa niyang pagkakamali. Pati ang tadhana’y nakiayon sa kaniya upang maituwid ang lahat. Nakatulong din sa mabilis na pagbabago ni Enrico ang natuklasan niyang diary ni Ana. Nagtuloy-tuloy ang pagbabago ni Enrico para kay Ana. Si Ana nama’y nagtuloy-tuloy ang pananabik at pangungulila kay Enrico; umabot pa nga sa puntong hinahanap niya ito sa ibang lalaki. Hanggang sa di inaasahang araw, muling nagkurus ang kanilang landas. Ngunit naulit ang kahapon. Muling nagpakalayo-layo si Ana. Ang dahilan—may bagong babae si Enrico. Umuwi si Ana sa bahay ng Tiyo Narding niya. Si Enrico nama’y pursigidong tapusin ang gusot sa pagitan nilang dalawa. Sinundan niya si Ana. Sa bahay ng Tiyo Narding ni Ana naresolba ang lahat sa paraang kakatwa at nakakikilig. Sa huli'y opisyal na kasalan ang naganap. Kasalang puno ng luha ng kaligayahan.
