Abraham preached. "Uncle, please! You're embarrassing me." "Abraham, don't scare the kids." Julia watched as sweat started to pour from my pores. "Please Aunty, just continue before Uncle says something more embarrassing." "Ok, dear... So Heliokinesis is the ability to manipulate solar energy. If you focus your mind you can draw power from the sun, this ability allows you to radiate light, fire and heat. You can also lend some of your energy to persons with telekinetic powers."

I gently touch the outer walls and I feel a burst of power run through me. I am suddenly back in my body, and back in my room. I can feel sparks on my arm, and I breathe a sigh of relief. Adam is still with me. The sparks signify our love and connection. I open my eyes slowly and see Adam’s head resting on my arm. He is not looking at me. I reach my other hand across my body putting my hand on his head.

It's added a whole other layer to our dynamic. "We got this," Trick grabs her pencil and taps it on the word he wants her to spell as they get to work. He gets everything, and I worry what happens when maybe we move on, or what if he moves on. The thought tightens my chest, and I tell myself every day not to think about it. To not put the negative thoughts in the world, to not give them power, but as someone who's lived life the way I have for the last few years, it's hard not to.

Fenris didn't show any emotions while my eyes were widely looking at him. He grabbed the phone in my hand. "You possess the power of telekinesis. What else are you capable of?" I shook my head. "Nothing I'm aware of." "Are you sure?" He raised his right brow. I nodded. "I didn't even know I can do that telekinesis thing." He moved his face even closer. His stares was scrutinizing my soul as if he was digging something within me.

"No. We handle this together. Like everything else." I nodded, trying to believe him. Trying to push down the fear threatening to overwhelm me. Thirty minutes later, our living room filled with tired elders and Kyle's father. Maya stumbled downstairs, rubbing her eyes. "What's happening? Is Kael okay?" "He's fine, sweetheart. Go back to bed." "Not until someone tells me what's going on." She was thirteen and stubborn. Just like her father. "Kael demonstrated a new ability tonight," I said carefully. "Telekinesis."

It was a sonic wave of ancient power that could knock down rogues, making them question their very existence. Selene folded her palms into fists, and when she released them, fire burst out. It was not meant to burn; it was meant to purify, turning dark and dangerous wolves into ashes without even touching them. Her hair flowed like a waterfall, and her eyes turned silver-blue. Her mind linked with Elenar’s, and she lifted him up without even touching him. It was called telekinesis, a move mastered by powerful wolves only and ancient witches. Selene shielded her son in a glowing concave shape of light, and not even the rogues could lay a finger on him.

He jumps, “What the fuck?!” I giggle, “Um, I needed them. I'm gonna ask you questions and write the answer and then destroy the paper. It's how my brain works and how I commit things to memory.” He looks confused, “You just wished for the pen and paper?” I nod. “That's not a vampire thing. We don't have telekinesis outside of being able to compel. We can't control inanimate objects,” he says, as his gaze roams over me. “That's a witch's ability, through a spell; or a higher being, like an angel or demon.”

They were tending to wounds, checking the area for any threats, and doing all the things that seemed to come naturally for a group of werewolf bikers. “Werewolf.” The word sounded ridiculous in my mind, almost like something from a cheesy movie or a young adult novel. But I had seen Kane change into a wolf. I had watched him fight in that form. I had seen Marcus do the same. And I had also moved a car with my mind. The memory of moving that car replayed in my head, like a broken record. The way the metal had creaked and shifted just because I needed it to move was unbelievable. Marcus called it telekinesis, as if it was just a casual detail rather than something extraordinary.

She shrieked, diving sideways onto the carpet just as the heavy piece of furniture slammed onto the floor with a deafening crash, shattering its wooden panels into splinters. Maria lay on the floor, breathing heavily, her face pale as a sheet. Bless the Goddess of the Moon, there was no physical injury on her body at all, the corner of the wardrobe had missed her skull by mere inches. But at least the shock made her stop talking bad stuff about me, about Philomena. Telekinesis. That was what the book had made me. I could make objects move, bend, and break without touching them, simply by projecting my mind's raw intent.
