My Ex's Boss is My Baby's Father

My Ex's Boss is My Baby's Father

"The book says: it is. Not generally. In my specific case, in the details that are only mine. And the specificity is what makes it applicable to people whose specifics are different. Because it's real." "The true thing," Lucien said. "The true thing," she agreed. She had been learning this across years of public work, the documentary and the speeches and the advocacy and now the book: that the version of her story that helped people was not the shaped and managed version but the actual one, including the parts she had tried to protect, including the miscarriage and the doubt and the failure, especially those parts. The book was on the bestseller list for nine months. She was grateful for the

he said. "Because you're in it," she agreed. "And because the chapter is about something you did — choosing the complete truth when the partial one was still available. I needed you to know I wrote about that. That it's in the book now." He was quiet for a moment. "Is it honest?" he asked. "Everything in the book is honest," she said. "Is it fair?" She thought about this seriously. "It is as fair as honesty about difficult things can be," she said. "Which means it names what was done and what it cost. And it also names what was chosen when the alternative was available. Both things are in there. The full picture."

he asked. "The truth," I said. "The unvarnished, uncurated, messy, and painful truth." I gave him the combination. "It's his medical records from Switzerland. The police report from the foundation fire. The letter from his father that explains everything. The real story of the alley. It's all in there. It's not a fairy tale, and it's not a tragedy written by a jilted lover. It's just... life. The good, the bad, and the unforgivable."

His contract Bride, His secret child

His contract Bride, His secret child

"When is it?" "This afternoon," I said. "Three PM." She looked up. "Are you ready?" I thought about what ready meant. I thought about thirty seven years of building an empire on the wrong foundation and two weeks of following a trail all the way to the end and one night in a pediatric bay holding an ammonite because a five year old had asked me to. "Yes," I said. She held my gaze for a moment. "What are you going to tell them?" she said. "The truth," I said. "Everything. In the order it happened. Without the management strategies and the narrative architecture." I paused. "The way you told me things in the coffee shop."

Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

She asked, her voice holding something close to anger. “To stop someone else from finding out.” That part at least was true. Thalia looked back down at the book quickly, flipping through the damaged section again before looking back at me. “You read it first.” It wasn’t a question. I nodded once. Ragnar cursed quietly under his breath. Thalia’s expression became harder to read now. “Then tell me exactly what was inside.” I already expected that question. So I gave her the version of the truth I prepared long ago. Carefully measured. Half truth. Half lie.

The Truth Surfaces Five Years After My Death

The Truth Surfaces Five Years After My Death

He staggered backward, clutching his stomach as he screamed hysterically. "No way! That's impossible! I saw him get encased in the concrete with my own eyes. He had already lost all his limbs. "How could he have hidden a recorder pen? You're lying! Gabriella, you're lying to me!" As soon as he spoke, he froze on the spot. Gabriella calmly rose from the couch. "It's true. I lied about the recorder pen, but I know everything—you colluded with Oliver and leaked classified narcotics intelligence, causing the death of hundreds of our comrades. You even killed Daniel to silence him and fabricated evidence to frame Victor."

His Dangerous Truth

His Dangerous Truth

He does not. Instead, he reads it again, and the words open in his chest with a pain that feels too private for publication. The line is good. Worse, it is true. That has always been Julian’s defense. Truth belongs on the page. Truth earns its place. Truth does not apologize for making powerful men uncomfortable. But this truth has Adrian’s breath on it. Julian leans back in his chair and rubs one hand over his face.

The Forbidden Truth

“Please don’t lie. No, please the truth. The girl in the story was you, right?” “Yes.” She was hesitating on telling Jina the truth but Jina pleaded so she couldn’t refuse her and told her the truth. “But how? There are no news about a massive gate like the one you mentioned. Where are you from?” The story she told Jina was incomplete she didn’t tell Jina about her coming out from a gate. And if she told her she knows that Jina will not believe her. Because a person coming out of a gate? Nothing comes out of a gate but monsters.

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

Great story!! refreshing to read something different then other books on good novel. loved the complexity of the worlds and characters. would have been nice to have it a bit longer, and more lucas scenes, but still greatly enjoyed it. looking forward to the next book!

Closing my eyes, I force myself to breathe in and out. It is going to be okay. The realistic part of me assures me that there is always an explanation for everything. There is no such thing as magic. There must be a logical explanation for this. I spend the next two hours comforting myself that the truth will be revealed in time. * * * Author Note: Which one is the truth and which one is the illusion?
