“Don’t fight it!” His voice thundered through the storm. “The wind carries you safer than the ground ever could!”
The world twisted, then blurred, Tempest Step. In a blink, they were no longer above the courtyard but hurtling forward through a rushing tunnel of air, clouds swirling past so close she could almost touch them. Lightning crackled in the distance, echoing in her bones.
