But originally, they are more than mere concepts. They are entities, powerful and destructive. Trapping them required strength beyond comprehension." My mouth went dry at the thought. "Sins?" "Yeah. You haven't realized yet? The daemons who escaped tartarus are the embodiments of pride, greed, sloth, lust, wrath, gluttony, and envy,” he answered as he took his jacket. “The seven deadly sins," he continued as he shut the door behind him.

He inquired. William stopped beside the bishop "It means you're mistaking the seven deadly sins with the Incessants. You're slightly right about them been seven but they aren't sins." He explained.
