Thanatos Novelas e Histórias

A whisper of a broken voice was carried throughout delicately by the autumn wind as I stared at the shattered man in front of me, cradling the body of his dead fiancée. Dead. The word made a bile rise up my throat. Dead. Diminished. Gone. She was gone forever. She wasn't coming back. The mere thought of it made my heart sore. Blood.... death.... The air reeked of death as the smell of gore lingered. The constant hollow of my chest increased until it swallowed me completely, turning me into an stone and making me blank. It might haunt me forever. If I was feeling like this just from witnessing a death, then what did he feel like?

She puts her hand to my face and brings the talisman towards my cheek. "Stop it!" the guy yells. The talisman hits my skin, and it's so painful I can't even scream. My vision blurs and everything goes dark for a moment. Then Heather is gone. Yanked off of me. I hear her fall against the ground, her cry more from anger than pain. "I'll give you one chance," the guy says. "Leave now. In two seconds I won't be so merciful." His voice sounds so familiar, like it's always been with me. Like it's, oddly, a part of me. I try to place it, but my head throbs and I can't think straight, let alone open my eyes.

His shadow was missing, leaving an eerie emptiness at his feet. Dizziness clouded my vision, and as my consciousness wavered, a figure materialized out of the darkness. Hayden, the enigmatic ruler of the mythological Underworld, stood before me. My eyes widened in shock and fear as I believed he had come to reclaim me, to take me back to the realm of shadows and despair.

After that, he moved a few steps closer to Thanatos, and as their eyes were now facing close to each other, Poseidon said to him, "What's good in the evening when the sight of you immediately spoils it?" "I appreciate your kind words, Poseidon. The dining hall is heading in that direction." Thanatos responded right away while he kept his composure throughout the conversation. He had to pull himself together and keep himself away from such a thought because, at the end of the day, he doesn't even have the rights to do such a thing. However, deep down, he really wanted to give him a blow for his arrogance.

Yeah everything looks all pristine and innocent during the day, but night time around the packhouse can be pretty fucking terrifying. And I’m the reaper himself. I have fourteen dead flies on my legs. Insects, yes, and definitely not sexy looking. But symbols of the males that tried to take me down and fuckin’ failed. But I know better than anyone, even my wolf… Flyers don’t live forever. We do our part to make this world a better place and try to leave it for those after us to prosper. Doze shakes his head and before he speaks, I already know why he’s pissed.

"Right.. about the getaway car?" "It's ready, but I'm gonna be leaving immediately we get her out.. I have a date" Thanatos rolled his eyeballs. "It's not a date, your parents are inviting you and Adele over for dinner" "It's a date, I said it's a date" "Fine, fine, whatever helps you sleep at night" Thanatos replied and hanged up. His stomach growled quietly, he held it and sighed. "A man needs food to reimburse his energy" *

Then, standing with her hands over the ashes, she starts her chant. - Cande cineres Maiorum meorum, qui laesi mortui sunt, surge et fac angelum dubitare. fac Angelum nuntiare avunculo iter per hebdomadam morari. (Latin translation - White ashes of my ancestors, who died wronged, rise and make Angel doubt. Make Angel tell his uncle to delay the trip for a week.) The ashes slowly turn into steam, which rises and passes under the door. Traveling the distance between the rooms, it enters under the door, where Angel rests from the new attempt on his life.

he places his hand on his chest, feigning confidence. "Conceded much?" I ask him boldly, cutting his sentence off and leaving my fear in the dust. He chuckles deeply causing my heart to clench, uncomfortably. My father is dead in front of me, a bullet wound to his head and here I am, laughing with a strange, 7-foot man who shouldn't be in my house. "Well baby, I'm death, nice to meet you," I know it was dumb, but I broke into laughter. "Yeah, and I'm Demeter now get out before I call the cops," I glance back over at my father as he lies in a pool of his blood.

She purrs like a kitten. I hear a knock at the door, and when I look out, no one is there. I get a whiff of pepperoni pizza and noticed it sitting on the floor in front of my door. I bring it in. Thanatos opens the door between our rooms. He smells the pizza.“ poison.” He yells and throws it against the wall and stomps out. 30 minutes later, he opens his door again and puts half a pizza on my dresser. “Safe to eat.”

The low-rank demons stepped back. I walked forward and slammed my hand on the black rock near the Gate of Torment. It cracked. Then opened, with full force in and out of it. The stench of rot poured out. A swirling hole formed in the air. Souls screamed as they passed by. The sky above darkened, thunder rolled. From the hole, a hand reached out. Long fingers. Bones visible under scorched skin. Thanatos. He pulled himself out, step by step. His body was taller, darker, more twisted than before.
