We’ll put it on t-shirts,” I said dryly, earning another laugh that sounded more genuine this time. “Listen,” Evie said after a pause. “We’re meant to be back in the city in about four weeks, right around Tommy’s next check-up. Can we meet then? It would be nice to see each other face-to-face instead of just talking on the phone.”
