The Age Of Adaline The Book Novels & Stories

A maidservant entered the room with a tray of food, and she said politely, "Madam Adeline, here's your dinner. Please enjoy it while it's still warm." At the smell of food, Adeline's stomach rumbled with hunger. She thanked the maidservant, and she dug in once she was alone. It was already eight in the evening after she had finished her meal. After watching the maidservant clearing the empty plates, Adeline took one of the books she had picked up on the trip to the bookstore with Ethan a few days ago. She began to read it. The book was about designing. Everyone always just assumed that Adeline liked to act. But only she knew that she enjoyed designing the most. For Adeline, designing was fun

Then she put it on Nina’s wound. “Take care of your hand. Don’t get the band-aid dirty again,” said Adeline. Nina nodded her head. “How old are you?” asked Adeline suddenly. “Me? Five years,” replied Nina. “Ah, it turns out you’re older than me.” “Yes. We are one year apart,” said Nina. Adeline smiled again. “Come on. You are done, right?” asked Adeline. “We’re back to class. Our teacher must have waited a long time,” said Adeline.

“I am eighteen,” “And I am saying, you’re young,” Adhler chuckled and opened the book. “Hmm, I think I have a similar book,” he said. Charlene was intrigued. She sat beside him, her body touching his! Adhler was surprised! He was taken aback, ‘This woman never really heard a word from what I just said! What a stubborn— yet lovely reaction,’ “Really? I have been looking for similar books, but I never got lucky! I even asked my brothers to help me look for the other editions, but they told me it was a book that came from an old family acquaintance and that there was no way I could find another one of this!”

Adaline looks up and sighs deeply before she continues. “Tatum and I first met when I was about fifteen and he was seventeen, our chemistry was…..off the charts, the love was amazing and everything was perfect. He was everything I ever wanted in a man and much more, everyone supported our union even at such young ages but my world was quickly turned into hell when a year later, Tatum found his fated mate,” Adaline pauses and takes another deep sigh.

Rowan departed, and I pulled Christine to the couch. Being the ever gracious host, Adaline already had tea on the table. Her usual neat bun I saw her wear when entertaining guests was pulled and stretched. Hair tendrils fell around her face, and if vampires truly aged, she looked like she had aged ten years. "I'm sorry, I'm not much help," she poured a cup of tea. Flinging in two cubes of sugar and a splash of cream, she held it out to Christine. "I'm not very good with confrontation, much like Vanessa. We are strong in other ways, however," she softly smiled.

He left his office, approaching the room. " Sonna Imaha, what a pleasant surprise", Adaline said with a beaming smile on her face. She was pale skin, had blonde hair and a well defined pointed nose, with thin pink lips. She wore her orange shirt and khaki pants. Her cuffed hands were placed on the table as she was sitted.

"Thank you, Adeline. I'll keep that in mind." She returned smile and walked graciously toward the door. "Thanks, again, Mr. Steel." "Adeline," I returned with a nod, holding the door open for her. She nodded and walked out. I gently closed the door behind her and leaned against it in exasperation. "She didn't seem so bad." I looked up to see Leila standing in the doorway. "Too young." Leila laughed. "She's over a hundred and fifty years old!" I shook my head. "She would be more like a babysitter and playmate than a nanny and protector. I can see her playing cars and Barbies with him, but then if a rogue vampire comes at the door "

But anyone with half a brain could see the cracks were still there, and my father was hoping to slide in, offer a bailout, and buy the Kingswell name for pennies. I walked into Le Papillon Noir, flowers in hand, already mentally drafting my exit strategy. I scanned for someone seated alone. “Anthony?” I turned and saw her—mid-twenties, maybe younger. Long black hair tucked behind one ear, soft amber eyes, a maroon dress that matched the mood of the restaurant but somehow made her glow like she belonged in daylight. “I’m Adaline,” she said, standing to greet me. I blinked. Not what I expected. Not intimidating. Not overdone. Not some porcelain doll sent by Priscilla. She was naturally beautif

Adaline could neither talk nor could she scream as she continued holding her chest. Irene noticed what was happening as she called her name but Adaline, who couldn't hear anything at that moment, didn't answer. A few seconds later, Adaline suddenly fell off her wheelchair as she lay lifeless on the ground. “Mother!!!”

Adrian asked, his cold tone gone. “Well, someone who is two hundred and thirty is regarded as an old man,” Adelia replied casually, and she started eating. “But I’m not old,” Adrian cried out. “It was like an insult calling him old. For someone to even be regarded as old in their world, they had to be at least eight hundred years old, just like Alphaeus.” “Alright, Old man,” Adelia replied, and a smirk appeared on her face when she saw the unhappy look on Adrian’s face. “You know what, I think I will start calling you old man.”
