The Age Of Witches Novels & Stories

The pirates looked around wondering if it was a good idea to go to the witch's shop. — Introduce yourself, seaman... — Manna for Igor — Igor Huntson — Maná, well, say what you want, even though you already suspect it. — Maná got up and walked, looking at the captain. Igor didn't look away from her, he had seen worse, he had faced worse beings at sea, which some called monsters. On the other side of the house, witches were gathered. About ten witches, most were young people and children. They were distributed around the room, sitting on the sofa, others challenged each other to see who was more powerful and others... looked through the small window in the door, the room where the pirates were

“I take it you have some happy wolves now?” Lottie giggles. “She blocked out, but Ember has told me she is satisfied.” I know Lottie is the same age I was when I met Aidan, but she seems more innocent than I was. Maybe it was my upbringing. Witches were expected to take part in rituals once they gained their powers. But only witches and warlocks over 18 had sex during rituals. The rest of us were expected to watch and learn.

“How old do you guys get?” “You mean how old do we get?” He corrected her, as realization came over her that she too will age like him. “The oldest known werewolf is 250. But there have been others who have lived longer. Vampires live even longer as do the fae, but warlocks and witches have similar life span as wolves.” Aiden stopped when he saw Alys’s eyes were as wide as saucers. “You didn’t expect us to be the only thing that goes bump in the night.” He winked at her and put his finger under her chin to snap it back up.

She had also explained to them everything that happened from the time when they were frozen in the glacier boxes up until now and what was going on at the moment. The witches were all shocked upon realizing that it had been seven hundred years since they had last been conscious. Most of them became sad, but it was obvious they fully understood what was going on. These young generation of phoenix witches had been born during that long war so they were not that shocked at the news they received from Yael.

I didn't leave my room for a week because of it. The good witch also taught me some magic on how to defend myself. I may not be of witch lineage, but I can certainly learn the woman's words, not mine. And I can tell you that this witch is the epitome of 'Appearances can be deceiving.' She looks 20 years old, but she is 150 years old.

"We Ksialites age as normal beings for the first thirty years of our lives, but after that, we start to age extremely slowly. After I turned thirty, I journeyed outside my village to see the world, much against the wishes of my people. My roaming all throughout both Europe and Asia led me to many adventures, and by the time I returned home, most of the people I knew were dead or had forgotten of me." She smiles sadly, "and so I wandered off again. I watched as the world transformed. I moved from community to community. I lived among all kinds of creatures and participated in all kinds of wars. Within my race, witches would often die from suicide when they felt that they've had enough, but I

"What? This is the most absurd thing that I have ever head. I totally believe that you are messing with my brain, you had better stop it, there is nothing that you will find in there, not even good memories." "All witches have the ability to live over a thousand years, it depends on how well they try to secure their lives," I briefed.

she began, inhaling sharply. "It started happening right around the time your mom and her sister turned 18 years old. The dark witches were hunting our women, killing them one by one. So we fled our home place to this kingdom, in hopes that we could lay low here." As she narrated, she sank slowly into a nearby sofa.

“I don’t know if I am allowed to talk about this. Sorry.” “Oleander? How old are you?” “I am quite young, Melinda… possibly the youngest in my coven. I will turn ninety five next month.” “That is young?” I was dumbfounded. “How long do witches live?” “Anything between five hundred to a few thousands. It totally depends on the kind of magic….” She froze, her eyes widening in horror. “I don’t think I should be telling you this….”

Even though she’s not here physically, we’ve always had her in our lives. So now? We’re two days away from turning 21. Jared and I are the first of the original trios’ kids to hit that milestone. At 21, we get our Goddess-given gifts, take our leadership roles, and might even find our mates. We’ve also been finishing up at the academy—this college-style place the pack established for witches and wolves to train, study their affinities or powers, and maybe meet their mates. Wolves are eligible from 18 to 25; witches, 16 to 25.
