I told him and with a huff he nodded his head. “When I talked to Roman he said he saw several members taking loyalty oaths to Alpha Doug. They named him the king. Alpha Doug is doing more than just building an army sis, he’s building his empire to take down ours. How many of those Alpha’s out there are really going to side with us, when Alpha Doug is offering them sex, heirs and prosperity?” He said and I had to shake my head. “Yeah, but on the backs of the lesser wolves. We may not get the Alphas, but we will get their packs. Now, tell me Levi, what is an Alpha without a pack?” I said, getting angrier and angrier at the fact that again we were being questioned.

And it will never be rejected.” I swallowed. “You don’t know that.” “I do,” he said. “Because I am not a pack Alpha.” My wolf stirred, suddenly alert. “What are you, then?” I whispered. “King.” The word echoed in my mind. My knees weakened. “Impossible,” I breathed.

I said, grabbing the results tightly into my hands. I went back to the packhouse feeling very weak and on the verge of tears. I had thought I’d rid myself of everything that had to do with the twins, but instead I was carrying their child! My aunt barged into my room to let me know some important news. The Twin Alphas were coming over to seal an alliance they had tried forming years ago with her father. I had begged my aunt to let the Alpha handle this meeting, but my aunt shook her head, telling me the Alpha had traveled for an important meeting.

She’d condemned all of them. “What are you doing here, Cole?” Jax growled. “Alpha Cole!” Cole snarled, his eyes darkening as he turned back to Jax. “I’m glad I don’t have to endure your insolence any longer.” “If you want to prove you’re stronger than an Alpha King, release me and fight,” Jax growled again. Cole laughed. “I don’t have to prove anything. I’m not here to get my hands dirty. I can just kill you like that and be done with it.”

I said with a shrug. "Regardless of what you guys do, you need to survive as a couple before you can even make an announcement. Alejandro told me you two got into a little brawl according to what the Alpha king told him. So what happens when you announce it to the world and then next minute your the cause of a war between yourselves," Avril stated.

Rider POV The night was quiet as I walked along the edge of the forest. The air was cold, and the ground felt firm beneath my boots. I was supposed to be in my office finishing reports, but when rogues were detected near our borders, I came out to patrol. As Alpha, I always led the search myself. My Beta spoke through the pack link, saying the trail had gone cold. No tracks. No body. No clear signs. That bothered me. Rogues rarely moved without reason. Something about tonight felt wrong, and the feeling sat heavy in my chest like a warning.

Bigger than any alpha wolf anyone had ever seen. I would bet money on it, that Thaddeus and Reid are the descendants of the Alpha King. It only makes sense. Alpha's are not able to make other Alpha's submit, only the Alpha King. But if he is, how come he's never claimed himself as the Alpha king and taken the throne?
